I like those boots, everything but that gold part on top... wish it was black

Can't blame dude for looking frustrated ,he must also see that Roo's done. Look at 34 y/o Ibra still hustling and making the effort to chase the ball down after playing 86 minutes knowing it's still only a one goal lead while Wazza who came on just minutes earlier, is jogging around like he's in training

Another moment of brilliance from the old skipper...

A comment I found interesting from a United fan who lives in Manchester and has season tickets. He said basically you can't really see it on TV, but when you're at the stadium, you'll be absolutely amazed at how long Rooney spends being flat footed and walking around the pitch. He said it was frustrating to watch, how your 10, is basically walking around the pitch and only switching on when he thinks necessary.

That sort of style of play is fine when your footballing brain is on Iniesta/Pirlo level, but for Rooney, that's not going to work....

From the recent U23 match, Zelalem was looking good out there. It may not be as competitive as the SPL but he did his thing

Was watching that every touch video earlier.

Even if Zelalem never breaks through as a first XI player for Arsenal, some club somewhere is going to get a player who's absolutely world class in possession.

Zelalem also got called in for next week's U20 tournament hosted by England in Manchester. The teams are USA, England, Netherlands and Germany.

Some of our key guys had their call ups denied by their clubs but our roster still looking strong the long way. CCV, EPB, Luca DT, Zelalem, Emmanuel Sabbi and Weston McKennie. :pimp:

edit: I see you were already on it. Hoping these games get streamed online.

But foreal tho aint no better feeling than your hometown team to win it all. When City won in 2012 it was euphoric, when the Portland Timbers won it all I was a child. I shed tears like no other it was that great.

I concur. Real tears. Could not describe the feeling when Leicester won the PL.

Speaking on MLS, pretty good/bad news for us DC fans

D.C. United fans will have to wait a little longer to enjoy their new stadium.

The club is set to receive the land from the District of Columbia this weekend at Buzzard Point, where they will build a new stadium three blocks from Nationals Park. But new projections for construction show the stadium won’t open until June of 2018, rather than at the start of the season, according to the Washington Post.

That puts completion of the new stadium three months into the 2018 season, assuming no complications cause delays. The league will be forced to schedule D.C. United to play away games to start 2018 until their stadium is ready, and they have ruled out a return to RFK Stadium during the 2018 season. D.C. United have previously said they expected the stadium to be done by spring of 2018, in time for the start of the season.

MLS teams have played long stretches on the road during stadium construction or renovations seven times before. Toronto FC are the most recent club to do this, playing their first eight games of 2016 on the road while their stadium was expanded. But if D.C. United have to wait until June, that would put them around 13 straight road games, if the 2018 schedule matches this year’s.

That the club is finally taking ownership of the land for the new stadium is a huge milestone in a process that has dragged on for years. The club has been looking for a place to build a soccer-specific stadium in Washington D.C. since as far back as 2006 and the Buzzard Point plan has been a discussion for the past six years.

In that time, the renderings of what the new stadium will look like have been scaled back from lofty early designs showing a large single roof around the stadium to the most recent designs, which offered a more modest overhang on just two sides.

D.C. United currently call RFK Stadium home, but the 55-year-old stadium is visibly in decay, and the dimensions are not ideal to host crowds for soccer matches. There has been talk of demolishing the stadium after D.C. United are no longer a tenant. The city has also proposed turning the land into the home of the Washington ******** or the Washington Wizards, but nothing has been decided.

We're definitely getting the stadium, the land has been granted, but we have to wait another year :smh:

Would be interesting if they knocked down RFK and built a new skins stadium in DC. Traffic would be HORRIBLE on game day though.

Right now FedEx field is 20 minutes away from me, if they move it to DC it'll be about the same distance. Sort of like having them in MD though.

When is ownership & management at Swansea going to look at themselves as the problem & not so much the manager.

Francesco Guidolin is a solid manager & seems to be a very solid dude... That last loss was on players & it has been. Bith in terms if quality of their play & the wuality of their players.

That club is nothing more than what they currently are.

NBC pointed out some very poor defending on Chelsea's part paticularly with Cahill.

A damn shame that one man goes down in Chelseas defense and they have to play 5 in the back rather than just sub him out.

It doesn't require all that just because Terry is out. Cahill is so beta, can't survive without his captain...

@mattspiro Robert Pires in L'Equipe: 'My next step with #Arsenal would be to become sporting director. That's what I want and Arsene knows it'
