Crazy day for the top of the la liga table. I was genuinely worried Barca could have ended the night on top and would have gladly taken a draw at Atelti.

Zidane loading up the midfield against Atleti was a brilliant tactical move. Gave plenty of help to Nacho and Varane who were huge. Francisco bossed the midfield.

And CR7, da alpha. Son was murdering it with the poses today. On mid-90s rap album cover levels :pimp: :pimp:

And gotta give props to all the coaching staff and players of RM. Been battling with injuries since the start of the season, and still undefeated. No excuses and players being ready, stepping up, and even getting better to fill in big shoes. And you can't help but to think Zizou is a factor in this. And also management for having belief in players. Despite an impending transfer ban they didn't push the panic button.

I'll never understand why there are rumors Perez is looking to replace Zizou. He might not have the tactical acumen of some of the more experienced managers but he's doing an excellent job of meshing the egos & getting them the players to perform when needed. I hope those rumors are just that, rumors.

Wow, Tottenham with a very un-Spursy like performance today. HurriKane with a brace no less...

daniel levy better pay the lad... :smh: It would be a shame to see him achieve glory elsewhere.

One of the few bright spots from Barca coming from the Malaga game. Neymar destroys defender Roberto Rosales with this dribble.

Had a final exam today and missed all footy. What was the Darby like in this thread?
