I just signed my new deal with the club. I am really, really, really happy. As you know I’ve been here for a long time and I feel like this is my home and this is the right thing for me to do. I am very happy to be a Gunner for many more years.

A couple pages back, I mentioned perez should fire Zizou because I thought he's a solid manager even though he might not have the tactical nous as other more seasoned managers. Before I deleted the derby game, I watch a little more to pay more attention to what Isco did. I didn't realize Zizou played a 4-4-1-1 with Isco playing just behind Ronnie who was up front as the lone striker. This allowed Isco a lot of freedom & he took advantage of it by playing really well. I'm pretty impressed... Clasico should be lit.

No, I said he shouldn't fired him period because there were rumors perez was making back channel inquires with the likes of Poch. I just said that Zizou might not have the tactical nous as some other seasoned managers but that he's doing just fine overall.

First & foremost, he won a CL. Secondly, he's man managements skills seem to be on point with regards to rumors of players not being happy at times like James, Isco, & Ronnie. Thirdly, he's really starting to come together tactically or getting stronger in that regards as evidenced with the derby win.

I had a pipe dream of once being able to see Sergi Samper & Alena in the midfield serving up Woo up front bfor Barca.

I finally see why Lucho had a problem with Samper. Watching some Granada games in which he's played, he isn't physical enough playing the pivot. It seems like he doesn't like to tackle much.

Alena's only weakness is he needs to work on defense to. He needs to show the same pace & effort he displays in the attack with his defensive responsibilities. Gosh I hope he doesn't get tempted to leave & I hope Roberto Fernandez works out a good deal for him.
