Bielsa ain't walking through that door

It's so much more than just the national team. US soccer needs a overhaul from the youth level and all the way up to the top. JK did get the ball moving on that but it always seemed that USSF was dragging their legs. Expansion teams was at the top of their list. Hopefully the new technical director (idk if the new coach will take that position) will continue moving forward and make the changes necessary.

It's so much more than just the national team. US soccer needs a overhaul from the youth level and all the way up to the top.

Bingo. You can can make all the right call-ups and put them in the perfect formations but it won't make a difference until you have world class talent. The United States won't reach the pinnacle of international football until kids here start choosing footy over American football, basketball, and baseball.

Seems Klopp would like to reinforce his defense by targeting CB Virgil van Dijk & Sam McQueen. van Dijk Just signed a 6 year deal in May. McQueen is an academy product but is a free agent at the end of the campaign. He play left back, a left wing back, & can play the left midfield.

I would be happy going in getting a draw, since we could win the group that way on goal differential but that news is a little boost to maybe getting the 3 points. He's a hell of a right back, that guy
