Arsenal fans have made this thread so depressing. It feels like a group therapy session in here

Busy transfer day

@GFFN:
Napoli & Manchester City have reached an agreement for the loan of Eliaquim Mangala, according to Italian outlet Radio CRC.

AC Milan & Porto have also made loan offers for Eliaquim Mangala, say Le 10 Sport. Worth mentioning the player wants a Premier League stay.

@GFFN:
Tottenham Hotspur & Schalke 04 have reached an agreement for the loan with option to buy of Nabil Bentaleb, according to L'Équipe.

@GFFN:
Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of Loïc Rémy with a €12m option to buy, according to Le 10 Sport.

@GFFN:
PSG have received a €22m plus €5m bonus offer from Juventus for Blaise Matuidi, according to @DiMarzio.

France Football confirm that Juventus have accelerated talks for Blaise Matuidi, but point out that the player prefers the Premier League.

Juve's trying to Arsene P$G for one of their best players :rofl:

Torres leaving Atleti seemed to be tatical decision. He's a classic 10 & doesn't fit Cholo's scheme. He was asked to play the right wing in midfield or up front as a right winger. Oliver & Vietto got solid playing time for like the first 10-12 games last campaign & then I don't think they played mich after that. Torres played welll at the time.

He played awesomely at Porto so i'm glad to see him go back. He was an integral part of the first leg 3-1 or 3-2 Porto win in the CL againsy Bayern last campaign.

Shame that Atleti got rid of the young guys...

Edit - I hope the new La Roja manager starts playing Torres & the other youngsters. Torres played briliantly for the U19s not too long ago winning the U19 Euros. I love seeing midfielders set the tempo of games & he exemplifies that when he's playing well.

Edit II - Jose selling Rashford? My friend the United fan says theres lots of rumblings.

Arsène Wenger pursuing Antoine Griezmann? We take a look
Squawka’s chief writer Greg Stobart released a report yesterday claiming that Arsenal have spent the summer pursuing Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid.

GFFN received information to a similar effect this Monday lunchtime.

Arsène Wenger is understood to have begun to actively pursue the idea midway through EURO 2016, after watching Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann compliment each other well going forward, notably against the Republic of Ireland. This was therefore after the announcement that Antoine Griezmann had signed a one year contract extension with Atleti until 2021.

The player’s €100m release clause has however so far been an impossible obstacle for Arsenal to overcome. Arsène Wenger has always been very clear that he is willing to spend money on world-class talent, they just have to be available.

€100m has however up to this point been too great a stretch, even though as Mr Stobart’s report insinuates, intermediaries working on behalf of Arsenal felt that the French international would be open and even interested in moving to the North London club.

It appears that the Arsenal board are not willing to give Wenger the funds to activate the player’s release clause, despite the currently hostile atmosphere surrounding the Emirates.

One thing that Arsenal cannot reproach Mr Wenger for therefore, is, he is at least trying to cause the “madness” that Arsenal fans have been craving for throughout the summer transfer window.

Yea okay :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes

Wont pay 40M for Lacazette
"Lets tell everyone we're looking into Griezmann!"

Palace got a nice little duo up front with Benteke and Remy.

You pumped ronaldo nazario ronaldo nazario ?

It will make my Premier League watching experience a little better that's for sure haha. I never chose Palace and expected greatness, I just needed someone to root for before Bundesliga came to FOX and I'd regularly get to see Bayern (or so I thought). However since Boxing Day last year it has been incredibly difficult to watch Palace. Even if they continue to be medicore or below, hopefully they can at least score some goals now :lol:

I always liked their colourways and cheerleaders:evil:

the bartender at the official South Bay Gooner bar is a guy that hates soccer but appreciates the fans that pour in at 6am on weekends. he always talks about Palace and the cheerleaders and how they're the best since they're from Narnia :rofl:

Bored, watched a replay of the Chelsea match..via Periscope bruh :lol:

MY GOD, MATIC & CESC ARE WOEFUL TOGETHER. I've never seen a slower midfield. A League 2 side bossed these dudes around with free will, man. Matic is washed bruh, he has 2 left sz 15 feet and basically doesnt know how make them work. Conte should have let Juve take him. Chalobah has to start getting some playing time. His style of play is compatible with Cesc, and he can definitely can start getting the opportunity to be Kante's backup.

We still need to sign some freakin defenders tho. Maksimovic, Hector, hell..hijack Mustafi and Fabinho, but man a new breed is definitely needed. Really pissed we STILL cant keep a clean sheet. We're "in-form", but the stress is already real.

Wore my Depay United kit today and got flamed :frown:

Sucks bruh :rofl: son ain't getting no respect anymore after all that hype. All good though, he still NEXT!

You can see why Conte tried not to start Cesc and Matic at the same time :lol:

I don't think Matic is washed up but he surely looks clumsy at holding the ball. He's still got good speed. It's just he isn't the same when it comes to hold the ball. I think Ashley Barnes's tackle made a big impact on him last year. He never looks same after the incident

Cesc needs to be in that starting midfield. His display on sunday is a dead on example of why.

Matic needs to sweep that dust off. From what I've seen, dude is playing sluggish and out of form. I thought Chelsea would have been in good shape keeping him and Cesc to hold down that midfield with Kante, but I guess not.

He's going to get worked when he runs into Ozil or even worse, Pogba :x

Matic is too clumsy with the ball to start any passing or attack so far deep. Then when he's advanced, his touch to so strong, he fumbles the ball away or loses the window to shoot. He needs to sit in front of the back 4 but that's Kante now. Also I don't know if Chelsea has settled in a formation yet. They played that 4-1-4-1 the first two games. Sounded like a 4-2-3-1 today. But we looked the best in a 4-3-3 in the preseason. So who know how that dictates how the midfield is played out.

Bild is saying Ricardo Rodriguez wants out of Wolfsburg...They're saying Chelsea at a 22M...or even cheaper.

Also, just swap Cuadrado for Lichtsteiner and lets call it a day. Get both Swiss boys at the Bridge.

I know some of you Chelsea fans won't want to hear this, but Cesc look like he's past it. Absolutely no mobility in the midfield, looks like he no longer has the legs. He's only 29 too... early age to exit your prime. Still has great passing ability (as we saw over the weekend) but i don't see him having a part in the Chelsea midfield going forward.

I think he can still be great at United, but he needs another chance to redeem himself.

If he's not cooking with this monstars lineup he's got now, he won't make it through christmas
