Double din stereos...

I had a Pioneer Avic in my '06 Altima. Loved it. Current vehicle doesn't really leave me with any options.

I once considered putting in a new headset for my 04 Camry, but I changed my mind. I don't want to put any more money into this thing and hopefully won't be driving it for that much longer

Looking for one myself, mainly looking for something with Bluetooth and the option for a rear camera. I wanted GPS also, but they are way over priced and I have my phone for that. Can't decide between Amazon or crutchfield

I have the Pioneer 8100 NEX. A little high on the price side, but I'm happy with my choice, Had a back up camera installed and kept my steering wheel controls which I really like.

I'm looking to get the 4100NEX for my 2 seater

I was going to grab one too. Ended up just getting an older Kenwood and a backup camera because I didn't want to put too much money into my car. I always do the installation myself, so I may swap them out eventually.

Simple feature, but I want a double din that shows album art over Bluetooth. Anyone have a unit that does this?

I installed a JVC NX7000 into my 06 CRV back in 2009. Still running strong only had to replace the GPS antenna once. Hooked up a back-up cam too, no Bluetooth or radio controls though. I love it because it filled the radio housing so it looked stock. The face is detachable and full touchscreen so those were factors in getting it. Have a CD slot but the option to put all music into a SD card is clutch!

Have the video safety bypass feature disabled so I can watch a video while driving but I rarely use it since it's illegal smh. I would but it's not worth getting pulled over for.

great post.

the tape player (yes tape player) has been going in and out and cassette adapters are pretty much extinct in stores.

i need something that can plug usb or straight aux cable into to listen through my iphone.

I thought about that but after reading some reviews, everyone mostly just saying its very basics, nothing unique. But i can get BB to price match if it came down to it.

Never though to do that It all depends on your budget, I can show you some $500-$600 units, but Apple Play and etc overrated

Almost 2 years ago I got a DNX891HD from Kenwood Excelon and I love it. Only wish I didn't have it to buy a new one from them w/ Android Auto compatibility.

I also added a back-up camera, iPod connection, steering wheel control and a satellite radio antenna when I got everything.
