FX's ATLANTA (Starring Donald Glover) S4 Final episode

It's amazing how the wife at the end was the Uncle Tom...But, her husband was actually sentimental.

This is exactly how I feel when white people goes out there way trying to show they sympathize with African American struggles.

"...Stop being so like-able"

But then I always ponder on several of my homies (they're refrigerators) who grew up in the same hood and going through the same struggle.  Do they really believe they can relate?

It killed me how the dude was genuinely sorry that he brought up going back to Africa and that he didn't consider how broke Earn was.

Love the small details.

I doubt he knew that Earn was broke, most of the ppl there were/or were considered well off

I'm fallin for Vanessa.

She seems like the type to count the days for when you can and when you cant smash raw because she's ovulating.

Why they have Common as just the valet dude doe?

Didnt even give the brother a speaking part

This episode...

I've been to a party like that, maybe two, minus the white dude. Boogie black people confuse the hell outta me.

I don't get the elitist attitude. Yeah, YOU made it, but two bad business decisions and a failed relationship and you're back in the mix with the rest of us. You don't have wealth... you're rich.

It wasn't until the end he realized. Remember the wife kept saying Ivy League Husband
Ern went to Princeton, we still don't know the circumstances under why he left, they haven't talked about it. And correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the lady in the blue dress Van's mother? She called her mom at one point.

[emoji]128514[/emoji] at the white dudes hand shake and his poem, he was dropping bars. Why do Black people like Henny so much?

Dude's slam poetry was straight bars but it still don't compare to the eloquence of Raphael De La Ghetto.

Van and Ern might fool around and get back together, especially since Van seen that other chicks want Ern, she might be feeling some type of way.

Them uppity black people think they somethin when they just ****** w/ money

Most don't and most won't. Even myself included I don't have much understanding of what really happened because who was gonna teach it to me? We all know America is trying to finish off sweeping slavery under the rug and re-categorize the slaves as ambitious travelers who just wanted a better life. The people who know either had somebody in house/family/neighborhood who taught them or the lack of information provided in school drove them to personally dive deeper.
