The thing about something like this is that if you are creatively gifted like Glover is, you should always push the artistic envelope rather than commercial appeal. 8/9 times out of 10, you'll always find gold & produce something extraordinary that will find some measure commercial success. Never understood people that tried to go the sell out route just to garner commercial appeal.
Not only is this show well written & well directed, but it's cast is stellar too... Love every character especially Darius, Keith Stanfield who I first noticed in Short Term 12... The story line where he gets Earn to trade his phone for the sword & then the cane corso was hilarious & so original.
Paper Boi is lulz too...
