FX's ATLANTA (Starring Donald Glover) S4 Final episode

Just watched Episode 1 & 2 on demand.

Will definitely continue watching.

That public intoxication story had me dying. Especially the friend apologizing at the end.

When paper boy tried to tell that chick who he was, and then started rappin the song

Too many funny parts, but that jail scene about the dudes that aint seem eachother in 11 yrs was prolly thr funniest.

Going back to the subtleties....u all ever read the episode descriptions?

This man Earn broke as hell. How you gone go out on a date with no money? Umm mhmm these Atlanta dudes trifling. But Ok, Paper Boi might really be about that life tho.

Yeah I'm surprised by how well-written I found the first episode to be. I went into this with middling expectations and ended up amazed.

The jokes 95% of the time hit you in just the right spot due to the quality acting and A+ script.

Bringing in a music video director creates something visually dynamic and unique. It's a new dimension to consider the 22 minute TV show from.

Donald's character was brilliant. I expected generic black nerd caught up in negro whackiness but I got a multifaceted, intelligent, and layered human being who also happens to be a complete **** up for reasons that are not entirely clear. Love it.

Every single racial angle was approached with subtlety and not at the expense of the narrative, unlike a lot of black media.

8/8 will watch again.

Peter Rosenberg was supppse to be the DJ not that H&M dude.
i heard him mention tht he was let go from a movie/tv show because he wouldn't say the N word (i guess his character says it) but i didnt know it was for this show. :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

So he did say it but he couldn't pull it off

That white guy did pull it off like he says it all the time/like he was playing Earn by disrespecting him with that story.

Man, this show was so dope!! I was lmao damn near the whole time ( espicially at that debo Jr. on the bus with the sandwich ) . First episode came out firing on all cylinders.

Show is dope. That whole sequence at the county jail was hilarious until crazy dude got beat....which is clearly on them for having him as a form of entertainment :smh:

I like how he effortlessly switched to "my dudes" and "my bro" when he ran into those other guys outside the studio after just using the n word.

You know you gotta reevaluate when you're the one he's that comfortable with.

I'm loving the vibe of this show. Curious about how lk and other atliens feel about the portrayal, but at the same time don't really care if that makes sense. Hope this remains consistent and goes to Pluto.

Watched the first episode the other night and enjoyed it. I will catch the other 2 tomorrow On Demand and chill.

Finally got to watch it last night. Definitely enjoyed it; felt a bit more realistic. Interested in seeing how the show develops.

Mental illness/police brutality all in a matter of :08 seconds.

Rewatching on demand right now
Did someone yell "WORLDSTAR" when Paper Boy confronts that dude?

Lost it when dude on the bus said "n, if you don't bite this sandwich".
