Then you had other records where Pac was going right at Big and the Girl that accused him of rape, like on the first verse of Holla At Me which is criminally underrated to me.

Makaveli got too many records
He was going at Stretch and B.I.G. in the first verse, the his enemies and lifestyle in the second, and the finally the girl in the third.

What are you talking about? Euthanasia was going to be the name of the label (before he decided on Makaveli Records), he had a chain and all. The chain broke that night in Vegas when he was stomping out that gang member.

At the 10:34 timestamp he clearly says the name of the album was Euthanasia. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?...

Yep, that 3rd verse was fasho about homegirl.
So much pressure on my mind why she blame me?

Secrets in the dark only her and I know,

Now i'm stuck in the state pen doing time slow,
May have butchered them lyrics, but this one of my favorite records off that album.

****** Bleed, man one of my fav tracks. Nas is known for his storytelling, but B.IG. did it just as good. His imagery in the lyrics are perf. You can literally make a short movie off that song, and I got a Story to Tell.

Also, Sky is the Limit... :x best 112 song ever, and they got bangers. From that hook, to that last verse, and that last bar,"Stay far from timid. Only make moves when ya heart's in it, and live the phrase Sky's The Limit." Gives me goosebumps to this day. More so cuz he's gone. Thats some wise ish right there.

When it comes to storytelling:

 Nas

Pac

B.I.G.

Also Sky is the Limit is B.I.G.'s attempt to make an inspirational song, it was alright but not on the levels as Pac's inspirational songs. Also when people downplay Pac's lyrical ability is weird. He made a song that had alliteration throughout (If I Die 2Nite) and then the ending of Hit 'Em Up.

Big is the GOAT storyteller. That man was so detailed.

Somebody's Gotta Die
_'s Bleed
I Got A Story To Tell
Me & My B****

Classics.

Then probably Ghostface.

There's absolutely no Pac son better than "Another", and thats the worst song biggie has ever recorded. /thread

Life after death is probably the greatest hip hop rap album of all time

It's cinematic...a movie...no filler no fluff...just reads like a book

I don't know what to tell ya...the story telling...the Brooklyn ode...jay z collab...diddy ad libing...the subliminals to pac

Man oh man

Not to make this east coast west coast

But biggie won

Please don't tell me biggie lyrical prowess

Is beneath pac yelling screaming and rhyming Hennessy with enemies

I chuckle when people attempt to say Life After Death has no filler. Please try and play that **** from beginning to end. You can't.

Sky's the Limit being 112s best song is another ****** joke. SMMFH.

pick a song "thats filler" so we can laugh at you.

Hypnotize, Mo Money, Miss U, Another, Going Back to Cali and Nasty Boy.

I've said on here before, Life After Death should be 14-15 songs. Would be better than his debut.

Playa Hater is a top 5 song on the album.

I Love the Dough >>> Brooklyn's Finest

mo money
Hypnotize
Going back to Cali

Are club party radio friendly songs

Every rap album has them

You'd be hard pressed to find a person from the mainstream who doesn't recognize those songs

how are 2 of da albums biggest records "filler"?

 :smh:

Hypnotize and Mo Money are trash. Straight up filler. Commercial singles so you can even give those a pass. I listed four other songs I wish to never hear again. That's filler.

I like Mo Money

I didn't like Hypnotize when it came out, but now I do and its a gym playlist song.

That stems from him doing poetry

but word play and lyrics, naw. Tupac was pretty much straight to the point. You didn't rewind it and say what did he say or repeat what he said multiple times to understand the meaning.

and you need to include Jay, Masta Ace, Black Rob, Scarface and Slick Rick in storytelling discussions.
