I did behavioral coaching with at risk teens. Some of my clients main target behaviors were poor boundaries. So it was my job to take em out in the community and coach. Kid had Torrets, PTSD and **** load of other diagnosis. Was actually sad how he was raised.. he landed back in some behavioral unit at the hospital.
Had another client that tried to yak it out at a mall when we passed the Macy's perfume and make up section. ***** funny yet sad at the same time.

u know i don't see them anymore. between like...2012-2014 i used to see these young women...i called them gypsies idk..prolly incorrect usage, but they all seemed eastern euro. young too. and they had no shame with that baby get money scheme. haven't seen them anymore tho..

I knew the kid was off.
He probably got beat in the head as a kid due to touching himself which led to him being developmentally delayed.

It maybe becuase I'm getting older but I feel bad. Homie has issues and probably doesn't get the help he needs. A lot of people who are mentally ill who don't get help or don't fit the right criteria for city/state/federal assistance. Tough break.

the NY in me is like yo, dude could get the hands right then and there, get his nuts stomped in by some high heeled girls, i wouldn't eem be mad. its wrong, can't just be doing that to women like that, i wouldn't want that to happen to my mom, future potential daughter, cousin, friend, etc...
but at the same time, im not about that street justice life. and im with you man, mentally ill people can easily get neglected or overlooked as mentally ill, and just get shunned, ostracized for something that can be addressed with the right resources/therapy. but all that to an extent. im not a mental health specialist, but it doesn't take that much brain power to know right from wrong.
its funny...i feel the same pity for wannabe gangsta youth, who want to be about that hard street life, and idolize rappers, gang culture, etc. rappers say they just peddle entertainment. and its true, but the impressionable are the impressionable, and when you take for example, bobby shmurda...
that's a black youth lost. fell thru the cracks of society because no1 cared. and now look at him. he should know right from wrong, and he chose to do wrong. fine. but society turned its back on him. and now he's in one of the worst jails in the country. no child should end up at rikers. and we are failing ourselves as ethical and unified society, if we are cool letting otherwise neglected children end up on that island.
