Hey NT, got an opportunity I wanted to throw out to the rappers/R&B artists on here (as well as for you NT'ers to share to friends that are artists. Trying to keep it as non-spammy and corny ad sounding as I can but here's the deets if interested!
I work in the music doing some a&r/scouting on the side and picked up a 1 week gig recruiting talent for an upcoming MTV music competition reality show that's shooting this fall and will air in 2017 with a BIG time producer and casting team attached. The show will have 3 music industry judges (think big time producers, rapper, music label exec) and will be a competition giving exposure and the winner a label deal with a major. Even if you/the artist isnt looking to get signed, it's a big look on national tv for exposure on a show that's aiming to stay authentic to the music industry workings and cut out any potential corniness (lots of studio time/footage, help developing and putting on a live show, etc).
If interested and u r/know of a rapper/r&b act (definitely have a shortage of r&b/singing acts) that's interested and want to hear more/apply thru me, hit me via pm!
