Anyone here ever had a vasectomy?

I've been thinking about it for about a year now, and recently I've been seriously contemplating going through with it.

I'm not worried about regretting it; I've never wanted children. I'm more so tripping off getting my ball sack cut open.

Anyone in here have the procedure done?

Please share your stories about your balls.

i havent done it but i heard its reversible so why not

When you have it done they make it clear that it's not really - there's certainly no guarantee that it's reversible, it's intended to be permanent. They're not keen on doing it for young childless people - I had to go with my wife and they want to know that you are together and have had all the kids you want etc. before they'll consider you.

Generally the procedure itself is minor though - they don't cut you open, just make a tiny incision and do it all through there.

I heard females get turned off if you tell em you got it done. why is that?

Because a lot of females want kids

I want to get one, but most doctors won't even discuss it with me because I'm too young :smh:

But why ? I mean **** it is your body ain't it? You wouldn't be sure what the hell you want to do with it?

Hell, I believe that type of thinking for a young guy is smart .

Long as your willing to freeze some before you have it done I dunno.

Can they outright refuse to do it ?

Been considering it for a while, don't believe in marriage or having kids.So it's something I've been strongly considering.

You can freeze your tzatziki sauce before you go through with it, just in case you want kids down the line.

It's reversible and you still ejaculate so why not. They even have a valve out now where you can turn seaman on and off via a switch implanted in your sack. This is what #teamrawbutidontwantkidswiththisscag has beeb waiting for. Also #teamnopullout

But....

Wait you actually turn sperm off so your money shot is all seamen but can't impregnate because it blocks the sperm from coming out of your vas deferens into your urethra for release. Someone post the YT video I am on mobile

I believe that valve hasn't even had a trial yet, so that's a ways a way from ever being on market - if it ever even makes it.

And I'm good on having a valve switch inserted in my scrotum.

I had it done after me and my wife had triplets. We had a 3 year old at the time when she delivered so having 4 kids is more than enough. Tossed around the idea for a while then did it. Easy procedure took and about an hour , sore for about a week, and money shots are still in full effect.

They're not required to perform elective procedures. Its my body, but its their hospital.

Most of the doctors I've talked to say: "The procedure is not guaranteed to work, and your plans may change. At this stage it would be too risky to perform the procedure if you're just going to try to get it reversed before 30."

Guess I'll just have to wait until I'm 25 :\

Need that

I use to think only women get vasectomys.

You don't believe in reproduction?

I can turn myself into a woman with no problems but if I want to get snipped all of a sudden it's an issue. Don't make no damn sense

Most people have to go through years of therapy and get diagnosed with gender dysphoria before they can even begin taking hormones, much less opt for gender reassignment surgery. Most of the time these costs come out of pocket, because insurance will not cover it. Please don't trivialize what transgender people go through to make a point.

Back to the topic at hand.
