Wow that's terrible :x :smh: I can definitely see how both victims and spouses/loved ones of those victims wouldn't want to speak on that
 
I've never imagined what's going through the spouses psyche when something like that occurs. Very emotional read.
 
That is terrible, he's supposed to provide and protect. Obviously you cannot be with your wife 24/7 but he was out drinking and smoking with the homies. That's probably why he feels guilty. I'm not sure how a relationship can withstand something like that. So sad
 
that's insane...I've always thought that occurrence would lead to the death of more relationships than not over time, like how do you move past that and reestablish normal physical intimacy after that?

I don't think you do, based on what I've heard from females who opened up to me in the past.

it's really a shame.
 
I wouldn't even know what to do. I'm bout to put my girl in self defense classes or something.
 
I have a friend that was raped twice on an army base while her husband was away. The night before she was raped we talked, they next day I hit her up to say hello and she told me what happened. There was a crazy burning in my chest and I couldn't even respond. I can just imagine what this guy went through.

Tragic. I'm sure it's true. This is a ****** up world.

Sad part is criminals are lurking about. He definitely shouldn't blame himself tho, not his fault at all.
 
 My girlfriend at the time had been out planning a surprise b-day party for me. Of course I was not aware of this at the time.

 While I'm being transparent & 100% truthful. It wasn't just my girlfriend, it was my wife. Incident occurred a month after we got married.

I also didn't want to be the one who brings up that some girls cheat on a drunken night out and their regret for cheating turns into "he raped me".

It's sick all around. Rapists and false rape accusers are foul.
 
Wait, why didn't dude just mention it was his wife from the beginning?

He just threw in "it was my wife" at the end for that extra emotion?

The gf then wife thing was confusing but what stuck out to me was 'her sister was blowing my phone up', i know cell phones were present in 98, they were just more rare. You hardly hear anyone say that back then. Fake or not it's a sad scenario that has taken place in some people's lives.
 
I know this is kind of messed up to say, but something about this story seems a little, well, non- believable.

I wasn't aware of how serious this was years ago but once I found out just made me really disgusted with ppl who try to blame and shame victims. See a lot of it on NT when these topics come up :x :smh:
