Is your city boring, activities and people wise

Take the metro. Once you get there walk all the way down. Soon as you get to the bottom walk back up and go see the exhibits you want. Believe me, you don't want to start viewing exhibits while you're walking down. After all that you'll have to walk back up after seeing everything lol.


Oh and forget about seeing the Pandas unless you get there when they are allowed outside.

i love houston and it's getting better and better. 

Houston is a spread out city so there are many different parts where they are all different vibes for going out...midtown, downtown, heights, montrose, washington etc.

there is always something to do and very diverse population. i have been with women of all races and i have no regrets now that i'm reaching the end of my 20's.

our food is the bomb too and southern hospitality is a real thing.

what sucks is the weather...

and it's not so much and outdoor type of city but i don't do that **** anyways
 
Just spent the last nine years in Las Vegas. Once you get tired of going to the strip and clubs every weekend, its THE most boring place ever. I was in Cali every other weekend. Visit Vegas, dont live there...
 
For folks that are saying it is boring, and is basing it off of, "You can only club/strip club so many time," lol - do you have any interests involving things when the sun is up?

That's how I see Miami or maybe I'm getting it mixed up with South Beach. I'd visit but wouldn't wanna live there. Plus wouldn't like the weather too.

Also couldn't live in NYC. Buildings too damn tall and I like some sunlight.

Yea, I just got on a friend for being in MIA for 6 days and only going to SB.

I was like, there is a whole city to explore.

Also, do you dudes go hoop in other cities? I try to find an open gym when I travel to places
 
Houston is where its at

Only thing is the humidity and that everything is spread out and the city is huge but they have everything for every crowd or what you feel like hitting for the night.

I'm saying :lol: dude acting like the sun never shines in NYC. Dam near caught a tan this last week just sitting on my stoops and I'm already dark skinned. I've seen this before on nt some dude said he would get depressed cause its never sunny in nyc like its England or some ****

If you bored in Vegas or Miami that means you a nightlife type person ...only so many times you can hit the club an all that before you need a break...idk bout Miami but Vegas it's definitely not much going on if you not on the strip so I Can see how one might feel bored if you ain't going out ..my mans moved out there and got tired of that **** in like 2 months , he only hit the outta the way local Casinos now...tried to have me going to them joints but I was like naw I'm hittin the strip only in town for a few days :lol:
 
It's really about what what scene your into and if its available where you at. Like OP said, he's not interested in outdoor stuff so the city is boring to him.

Additionally, other people who've lived in/near a major city for most of their life are either boring people or never actually took time to do stuff/develop interests there.

i shouldn't say lit, but lots of random food spots...

not night life per say, but you could literally eat at a different restaurant for a month straight within walking distance up and down those few blocks...

also, more than a few Spanish karaoke spots if people are into that...

I get bored at work sometimes.

Cant remember the last time I was bored on my own time.

Maybe it's a life outlook thing.

Hell im on a park bench right now on NT and Im not bored.

Traffic and weather sucks, very diverse city tho, it can take 40 minutes to get to the other side of town and feel like another city.
 
I moved from Detroit to Phoenix last year and don't regret it at all.  Detroit is cool to me because my family is there but for things to do it sucks if you don't like the club, titty bars, or casino.  I can't really rate Phoenix too much since i've only been out here 11 months and have a girlfriend and infant son now, so you know going out is far and few between.  What i can say about Phoenix is the weather is GREAT 8 months out of the year versus 4-5 Months in Detroit.  Arizona as a whole is a straight outdoor state so if you don't like that it will be boring.  

My PHX heads can you suggest new places, or things to do out here?

Yea that's what im saying , to YOU that's not boring ...but other ppl the hell they look like sittin on a bench talking bout they not bored, some might see that as not doing anything :lol: ...my point was you can feel bored in any city really , depends on what's going on and your interests

Yea I feel u ...most ppl have a comfort zone of a few things that like to do, so once they get tired of that or none of that stuff is happening it's a wrap ...I tried to get into the outdoors more but I just can't do it

And some cities are wack in certain areas too , like if u mess with strip clubs do NOT got to Richmond, VA ...some of the worst/ most ratchet I ever been :x :smh:
