Are the name brand joints worth it? Looking for something to use in the shower and when I`m cutting hair.

No need to spend that much, but if you are, Mackie CR4BT.

Got one of the lil cheap shower ones, cool cheap lil novelty as long as your expectations are right.

I was looking at doing this one Amazon product ASIN B010OYASRG
The Amazon Tap looked really cool but I hate that it is not like the Echo where you can just talk to it, you have to press the button, and I didnt want the echo because it has to be plugged up. Amazon Tap was the only one that offered features that seemed cool and worth the premium, the other things like the Beats Plill and such look good, but didnt show me anything to pay the premium.

My main thing about the cheap joints is that I dont wanna end up having to buy multiple because they are cheap quality. I also have a 15 dollar best buy coupon and see they have a few 20-25 dollar ones that caught my eye

All those small joints seem to be on the same level, may as well try one out with Amazon's great return policy. Only ones that seem to stand out are the JBL. Bought some Urge basics a while back and they're OK, nothing special but def better than the cell phone.

Yeah. Like I dont want trash and don't mind spending the bread for something good, but I`m trying to find the value in the higher end brands, and Amazon Tap seems to be the only one I see value in, I just wish it had the always listening Alexa, I get why it doesnt but still I`m better off just using Siri or Google Now.

Bang and Olufsen gave me a free one and it's fantastic.

I use it at work and everyone loves touching it.

Yeah I saw the one they had for 250, looked cool, and it has rave reviews but I didn't really see any distinguishing features to make me get it over say the Beats Pill that is cheaper.

check out SHARKK's stuff. all theyre products are affordable and have plenty of waterproof options. and they sound great. they def make some of the best sounding speakers you can find for under $150

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...etooth+speaker&sprefix=sharkk,electronics,125

Gonna check it out.

I`m seeing a lot of sites say the UE 2 Boom is the best joint out but have seen a few sites say the JBL Charge 2+ gives it a run for its money, I see the JBL is 60 bucks cheaper, but the UE is 100% water proof meaning I can literally have it in the shower.

i know one of the only issues you might encounter is battery life.

some of them might be good for a while then the battery wont hold charge or die super quick.

Harmon kardon onyx, 150 at sprint. Bluetooth, portable and good sound.
Ue boom sounds pretty good too.
I have the Bose soundlink mini 2 and it's good for certain songs, gets distorted of there's too much bass.
Haven't seen op post in a minute.

There's a reason it's priced higher than the Beats.

It really has a high quality finish and feel to it and the sound is amazing for a mono

They're all the same. I have a no name brand eBay china one I probably paid $8 shipped for as a shower one that I have had about 6 yrs. But now they make waterproof AND submergeable, waterproof AND floats, waterproof AND rugged/drop proof/dust proof ones for not much more price. JBL's are good but not worth the price premium. I'd get one of these. Don't sleep on the Harman Kardan Onyx Studio or whatever, they first came out wanting like $500 for them, didn't move any units and now you can catch them for like $50, same with the BEM Wireless ones which are very good. I wish you had made this post like 3 yrs ago, I'd send you some for free. I was just buying them up when I was thinking about the whole wholesale thing, then ended up with a stock of them and they become default Christmas gifts and I'd give them to chicks who went on dates with me as a parting gift. There's also models with built in USB thumb drive support, microsd card, some can be double and triple paired, NFC, battery powered, some can charge other devices via USB, so think about what all features you need and we can give a more detailed recommendation. Sam's has tons too. If you want something big for like an outdoor, loud party, those ION Block Rockers are great and Monster makes one now too
