Air Jordan 7 X Doernbecher

Limited or a DB = Clean, dope

If these were GRs = People calling them trash
They're limited and half the people in this thread, myself included have called them trash.

I don't think people keep their real opinions about DBs a secret anymore.  Some will go as far as calling them ugly and admit they'll still try to cop them.

I'm not even going to hide my intentions, if I cop these they'll be a instant trade bait for an actual dope shoe. The alternate pair looks decent, the pair the public getting is terrible.

The attention to details. I wouldn't mind the alternate joints but I would settle for the retail with no resell. I would definitely wear them. Well put together.

They made one decent one this year I agree about the the others tho lol

everyone complaining about a design that a child made who has a life threatening illness should be ashamed of themselves
because you all know the same jerks will be trying to get a pair to flip come December 17th

everyone has their own opinion but come on grow up

Don't the kids themselves help design the shoe?

Cut it out. Trash is trash regardless of who created it. People can and will still support the charity regardless of how the shoes look.

That's all that really matters.

Opinions on how a shoe looks to a person shouldn't relate to who made it, if it's ugly and Jordan Brand made it then it's ugly. If a child made it, surprise, surprise, it's still ugly. I mean if you like it good for you, but just because a kid made it everybody shouldn't automatically like it or get a pass on criticism.

What's to cut out if the shoe is trash your one less person trying to buy them

I wish more people felt like you I know I want them

Bottom line the money goes to a good cause
As terrible a shoe might look if a kid is going to design it I personally will not badmouth it
But thats just me

I agree with you. People need to be more empathetic concerning children. They are at a different stage as far as what really hurts them. I'm sure reading negative comments about their design could really hurt their feelings and affect them tremendously. People can be so cruel.

I actually like these a whole lot. I sold the 13s I got last year but I'm keeping these if I get lucky this time around.

I think you guys are being a little too sensitive when it comes to opinions on this shoe being muted due to a child designing them. A child designing them shouldn't sway your opinion on the aesthetics of a shoe.

That being said, these are DEFINITELY one of the better looking DB's.

if you dont have a child your not going to fell a certain way to children especially sick children

Nah, we're judging the shoe not the kid. come on now.
plus the kid that made those atrocious 13s doesn't have a life threatening illness. there's athletes wit what he has, matter of fact he's one himself.
but again, we're here for the shoes not the kids. if we were we'd been out there bidding thousands at the auction

The amazing thing about the db project is that these kids get to design the shoe how EVER they want. They are not fashion designers or trend researchers. Comparing these designs or even trying to hold then to the standards ore Nike/Jordan bread designers is foolish.

Some of these kids are better at designing than the fools at JB who thought the Joker 3s/Orion 7s/60+ every color/ croc skin-pink 8 low were okay
