Wrestling Thread October 1st-31st/ No Mercy Tonight At 8PM ET/ Dolph Zigger Last Match

Now that the Cruiserweights are here, we no longer have to sit through Titus O'Neil segments ::smokin

Will it be like the Nitro format where they'll only be around for the first hour? I really wish they'd do a commentary switch too but that ain't gonna happen :smh:

Cole gonna be calling everything a Michinoku Driver

Funny story about this photo is that Sting was the main headliner for this show and you were supposed to buy a $20 ticket to get in. I told the guy collecting the money at the door that I'm just there for an autograph and I'm not going to watch the show. He says I still have to pay which I do and then ask if my boy can at least come in since he's going to take the photo. He asks who I'm even there to see anyway if it's not Sting. I say James Ellsworth, of course. He says, James Ellsworth?!?! James...Ellsworth?

He looks down in disbelief and laughs, then he hands me back my $20 and says my boy can go in with me. By the time we got in, there was probably about 50+ people in line to see Sting, who was behind curtains. James being humble, was right in the gym amongst the people. Chatted for a few and him and his boy loved the game cover. A couple of kids saw it and begged their parents to let them get the game too, but the joke's on them since it was just an empty case. The game's not even out yet

Does anyone know the format in which the CruiserWeights will be used on RAW?

Hour block?

Or

Will they be sprinkled throughout

I want to watch RAW just for that but I might just do the Hulu AFTER I hear how well it went

Like someone said, I hope they don't have a cruiserweight match only for Braun to come in and annihilate them lol.

I really don't expect them to give the cruisers 1/3 of the whole show, but I guess we'll have to wait and see

Great piece of wrestling history in this clip!!!...

The legendary Dr. Jerry Graham interviewed by Vince on TNT in 1985. Note - Jerry Graham was Vince's favorite growing up & "nephew" Superstar Billy was his fav as an adult. Also - this was just a few months after the suicide of Eddie Graham down in Florida.

Interview starts at 3:00 min mark. enjoy...

The good doctor could definitely hold his own with today's stars!

:nthat:

PS - apparently this tnt episode is not on the network for copyright reasons.
