I don't see how SuperSlam is gonna be better than Takeover..Everything, even dorky AA, was booked better than anything Vince can come up with for his #2 show of the year..

I'ma re-watch NXT before SS and give the matches a more honest critique without me being hyped up to watch the show..Still think the title match was the best of the night with the tag match coming in a very close second..

Revival definitely made me a true believer after last night's match..Won't dare say that they remind me of Arn and Tully, but they're for sure the best tag team in the company (not just NXT)..

And unless I see something on a second viewing to change my mind, Joe/Shinsuke is slightly ahead of Sami/Nakamura IMO..Last night's match had better selling from both men and a better psychology than the Generico match..Plus it was longer, had more of a big fight feel, and it came across as more real than Shinsuke/Zayn..

I said they remind a little of Arn and Tully but def not up to that caliber yet. They are great though and them and American Alpha are by far the best tag teams the company has to offer.

Hanging in there. Been able to focus on work for the past few days which has kept my mind off it a bit. Viewing and funeral are tomorrow and Tuesday though, so that will be rough.

Probably so bc I don't see Revival being in NXT too much longer. Prolly drop the titles at the next takeover and come up to Smackdown (I hope).

Completely agree..As someone who grew up on NWA I can definitely see the old school influence..But they mix the newer style into their matches very well..Plus they have the perfect old school heel presence to them..I don't know why, but I get kind of a Hart Foundation vibe from them..

Yeah man, I don't know why..Just that early Hart Foundation heel attitude or something..More Bret than Anvil, but something about how they walk to the ring and interact with people before the match and opponents during the match strikes me as Bret-like..
