Hi NT FAM!

This semester at the University of North Georgia I am taking an ethics class where 30% of the grade comes from a civic engagement project. Being a sneaker enthusiast I felt that doing a sneaker drive on campus, where I collect people's used, unwanted sneakers and donate them to a great program or organization. I am currently looking for donation programs that I can donate to. One I found was Nike Grind, a recycling program where they reuse the materials on beat, bruised, and battered sneakers to make playground rubber for schools, track and field rubber, artificial turf, apparel and of course, shoes.

I was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience running a sneaker drive. How did you get word out? How successful were you? What organization did you donate to? If anyone with previous experience with this can let me know any suggestions on any improvements I could make, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all and have a great day.
