I thought dude basically disappeared after Dr. Dre left him and a bunch of other dudes on the shelf, and I happened to get linked to his twitter (forgot what I was looking at beforehand), and saw him promoting this album. Based on other stuff i read, it's all recent recordings other than one of the DJ Khalil songs. Besides DJ Khalil producing, there's also Dame Grease, Focus, Bink!, and some other lesser known ones.

Six years after leaving Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, Bishop Lamont is finally gearing up for the release of his long-delayed debut, The Reformation.

The Cali rapper has launched a crowdfunding-style campaign for the project, via PledgeMusic, where it is up for presale to fans.

"I’ve been working on this masterpiece my whole life for this very moment, so I’m very proud to share a dream come true with you, PledgeMusic, and music lovers all around the world," Bishop says. "We selected PledgeMusic to make you a part of the process, and want this album to stand out from start to finish."

While details about The Reformation are currently unknown, Bishop offers up samples of a trio of songs that will appear -- including "Un-American" featuring Ryu and Apathy, "Back Up Off Me" featuring Xzibit, and "Devil In My Way".

Via PledgeMusic, the album is available in a number of packages at different pricepoints. For example, you can purchase it in digital format for $10, limited edition autographed vinyl for $50, or with a variety of Bishop Lamont-branded gear, from hoodies to bandanas.

 no way.

Damn this is really coming out

It's February 2, 2017, and it is now OFFICIALLY out   I had put $10 in on his pledge a couple months back, and he more than made his goal based on his site, and I literally DL'd it 5 minutes ago. It's the same tracklist, but I guess he did a good job of not letting a lot of his songs get out. The DL came with the 19 tracks, a handful of short studio session videos, and a bunch of random artwork and wallpapers. It also included his ****** Noize mixtape, which is cool, cause I only had scattered tracks from it anyway.
