If you disagree, you're certainly entitled to your opinion but I'd guess you're going to be in the minority on that one.

It's comments like this that prove Alicia's point too. Like, a woman doesn't have to wear makeup in order to look good and feel confident. It's all these broads on social media with their Snapchat filters and Kylie lip kits that are creating unrealistic and tragically skewed perceptions of how women should look.
 
She looks great to me. Better with makeup but still fine regardless. Those haters need to log off and find something better to do than hating on a beautiful woman stepping in the spotlight without makeup
 
What gets me is, when girls are young, we tell them how pretty and beautiful they are, and that's their natural face. But when they get older, they feel the need to plaster that mess all over their face. I understand puberty affects their skin, but women shouldn't be shunned for embracing their natural looks.

Idk, I'm just more accepting I guess. Once Alicia said she wasn't gonna wear makeup anymore, I said cool. It's not a big deal. Now I expect her to always look natural. Of course, not everything is gonna be perfect..but the ones made know they ugg mug and that's why they hating. They can't step foot off the porch w/o arched brows and contours on contours.

Only downside is, because Alicia made the announcement to stop wearing it and her reasons why, she can't have a day where she just wants to get dolled up anymore w/o people throwing shade that she's being hypocritical and embodying everything that she hates.
 
It hurts my heart to see black women bash another black woman for staying true to her roots and culture. Makeup is a European babylon thing. They needed makeup because they couldn't handle the hot sun and cold weather. So they had to put chemicals in their skin. Women are being brainwashed by these European ideals, making them believe that they need makeup, when in actuality, the makeup is killing them. Did you know that makeup can go in your blood and get passed down to your seed (if your pregnant). That's why all these kids is running around losing their damn minds, shooting each other and taking all these damn xanny bars and dying their hair red. It's the makeup that their mothers are wearing. All that phremaldehide and other chemicals are killing the people using it. The same **** that they put in cigarettes, is the same active ingredient in MAC and Sephora products. Do the research
