Lots of people trying to dump their black/infrareds on ebay the last two weeks. Tuxedos too.
Seems like right before and after a release, different colorways of that release model pop up for pretty cheap.
Guess it's thinning out doubles or wanting the newer one more.
Black/infrareds are the best colorway of the 11 low in my opinion. Doubt barons will be better, but haven't seen them yet to say.

Patent leather cut looks pretty bad on most pairs I have seen online. The carolina blue pair had the best patent leather cut for a low since the early 2000s.
