to be 100% honest, i care more about Melo going to a team where he can win vs what we get back in a trade. let's be real, Boston isn't giving us that pick no matter what. no one is giving us a top 5 pick, bc Melo won't even consent to a team that bad. we're also not going to get equal value back for him. i'd prefer that he retires here, but if he does get traded i hope it's to Cleveland.

Call me selfish but I rather have Melo rot here in New York and retire with the Knicks then have to possibly witness him winning it all with another team

i would prefer to have him retire in NY also, but i don't want him to go down the same path as AI. both deserve/deserved a chip. let Melo chase. but his fate is in his hands. if he doesn't wanna waive his NTC, then he'll probably be added to the list of one of the greats that never won.

I don't care if he retires here or not. If he wants the opportunity to try and compete for a ring he has the right to try though.

I'm sure we're gonna get fleeced no matter what. I'd take Felder, Liggins, and one more player for Melo. It'll help us continue the tank and Felder is a young decent guard to run with KP.
