I know I have said some things about Melo in the not too far past, but I really want him moved because he deserves to be a winner. I mean move him to a contender so he has a shot, he's wasting time going through cycles of tanking to rebuild. He's a loyal dude but damn, please don't be loyal to a fault.

I'd much rather keep Melo than get finessed in a trade

I think it's way more likely Melo plays out his contract and then gets a lowball offer (whether Phil is here or not) and at that point he either stays or goes ring chasing. May end up Vince Carter 2.0 in that sense.
