This team sucked on defense from game one. A lot of yall ignored it cuz we won a few games and blamed the triangle for losing.
What Hornacek just said sounds like some **** he trying to sell to make it seem like the team is gonna make a playoff push. That's bull ****.
If you want to be a half court team, be that. Reality settling in for him with KP being hobbled.
If Hornacek never wanted to run the triangle he should've never took the job. If he still don't want to he should quit. Son is just there as a coach now. Nothing is glaringly bad about this team's offense that a good pg and running some more pnr won't fix along with better chemistry with certain players.
The problem is defense. The bull **** that is Rambis being in charge of that can only shield the head coach for so long.
I don't give a **** if Phil talks to the media btw. What is he gonna say? Melo's still a bum that won't waive his ntc to go to Boston or some **** squad? Lie and say there's some plan set in place to be better in the immediate future? Announce they are in full rebuild mode? Oh maybe he'll say it's his fault for speaking up that caused to suddenly be ****.
After a signing in FA or major trade I'd expect him to say something. Then again during the season to poss Melo off.
I find it oddly weird that's something to focus on by you guys now. He said some **** to the media along with other rumors since and you guys are saying that's why the team sucks all of a sudden. Now you want him to talk to the media so what the team can suddenly play better? Its bull ****.
