Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

hoping we can move Courtney Lee on draft night to grab a pick (Pacers mybe) and draft Luke Kennard

Had a dream vision last night that we're gonna overpay for Jrue Holiday/George Hill and Deron Williams to be our PGs for the next 4 years while we draft another big this summer
ohwell.gif

Kennard's trending towards pick 15-20

Don't think Lee is worth that much
add kyle o'quinn along with lee than

hornacek barely plays him and had a dnp yesterday

but in this case maybe ask for a 2nd rounder as well

The point guard doesn't matter much in the triangle.

 I forgot again, why are yall keeping track of that?

Did he say he would and didn't? Outside of leaks and rumors I don't really remember the last time he addressed the media about anything.

Was he some chatty Kathy before this season?

Because Hornacek & Melo have had to address the media the whole year while Phil sits back high on peyote

Well when your team is involved in a scandal, you're talking down your best player publicly via social media and coming down to coach the team those are the kinds of things that warrant addressing the media

But instead the team and coach are left answering questions about Phil

Not even mad at Shump's statements.

Knicks killed his potential with the way they handled his injury.

And the Garden fans had no mercy on a young player that was rushed back on the court, derailed his development and confidence.

I can see how being here could be a personal hell.

**** Shump.

Usually, presidents of operations aren't routinely addressing the media for up.dates in their **** seasons.

It's extremely common for star players and the coach to constantly have a mic or recorded shoved in their face.

Only difference is Phil is a known name and legend in the league.

What exactly yall want Phil to say or talk about specifically? I'm pretty certain none of yall gonna be happy with what he says on it.

The position Phil is in doesn't necessitate him being grilled by the media. I mean if he did, it'd be by someone of his choosing and he'd get softball questions.

If it's a statement it won't be much and nothing any time soon given this **** season. He'll probably say something once the Knicks are officially eliminated from the playoffs where he'll probably lay in to Melo more.

Stop it. Son was to busy trying to be a rapper in his last season here, and his numbers are down since he left. Could've at least waited till he was putting up career numbers to talk trash. Bum juice.

My point is regular presidents don't do ANY of the ish Phil has been doing

That's why they don't speak to the media because they have no reason to

That's not the case with Phil. He's done ish that he should be answering to everyone about

It's Phil though.

All he's done directly is call out Melo's play. That's something he's routinely done as a coach and probably still wants to do it or he saw how it backfired in his new position.

About few months ago this elderly man I bumped into was saying he's been a Knicks fan
His whole life and gave up on them 15 years ago because he can't waste anymore time.
15 years ago they won a championship just 30 years prior, what a spoiled brat
