Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

Such a non-story.

Like this is an update on **** hasn't changed.

Media won't stop pushing it though. I see they have no other stories for the deadline.

Aint even like Phil publicly said he's shopping Melo or he'll be gone by the deadline.

The New York Knicks are the NBA's most valuable franchise for the second straight year at $3.3 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers at $3 billion. The Knicks turned an NBA-record $141 million operating profit last season while the Lakers were second at $119 million.

Dolan will die before he even thinks about selling the team

Yeah I think I'll check out of this team eventually. We're the most profitable no matter the product we put out. We're just too far gone, wins aren't coming.

Draymond Green on Dolan/Oakley:

“You doing it for me, it’s all good,” Green said. “You doing it against me...you speaking out against my organization, it’s not good anymore? That’s a slave mentality. A slave master mentality. That’s ridiculous. It was all fine and dandy when he was laying people out, taking fines and all this stuff for your organization. But now all of a sudden when he says something that he feels, it’s a problem.”

He also spoke out against Dolan for the statement he put out following the incident suggesting Oakley had addiction problems even though he didn’t have proof.

“That’s not something that you say to the world. That’s not classy at all,” Green said. “It’s not OK for you to go say to the world as a multibillion dollar organization. How can you even pin that on someone? Just throw that out there. That’s grimy. I think that’s wrong.”

I love Draymond. Every team in the league could use someone like him. Someone who does everything on both ends of the floor & isn't afraid to get in your face if you're not giving 100% effort.

They don't make players like Draymond Greene too often. Someone who is willing to do whatever is asked of him, never complains, and pushes his teammates to be the best they can be. He doesn't need the ball to be effective, plays defense, and is willing to be the voice and heart of a team. It's extremely rare to find all these qualities in an alpha, especially in sports.

Honestly, the qualities Dray has is something that's transferable to succeeding in normal everyday life. He's a winner.
