man, that **** can go down over a misunderstanding...ever read about the Cuban Missile Crisis? you replace Russia with the wrong rogue nut country and that could have gone a very different way.

I don't live my life in fear, in fact quite the opposite...my belief in the fragility of civilization drives me to lead the most fulfilling life I possibly can while we still live in this wonderful futuristic utopia.

WW3 will probably be technology based tbh. I don't see nuclear weapons being the go to unless Russia or China starts invading US soil [emoji]128064[/emoji]

apparently the Russian ship needed 3 officers to agree to fire the missile and trigger war...2 did. do all other men make the decision the 3rd officer did?

Brah so many countries got nuclear weapons, there is no way that one of dem doesn't let off a nuke.

And once one goes off, everyone gonna let the yoppa sing

I think most countries know the risks though. So besides Iran and Pakistan, I don't think other countries want to set off a chain reaction. I only worry about a criminal organization or a terrorist group partnering up with a shady country collaborating to plan an attack.

The only country I'd see launching a nuke is North Korea because they're delusional and bat**** insane. There's so many nukes on this planet, as soon as someone sets one off there's gonna be a chain reaction. I don't think they'd want that

From a game theory perspective, everyone having nukes is a good deterrent for war, assuming everyone acts rationally all the time.

That only works if the threat to use nukes is credible though, and the only way a threat is credible is if people think you're only follow through on your promise to use them if the time comes, if the time comes and you don't follow through, then you're threat in meaningless from now on.

If any country that has Nukes gets Nuked, trust and believe they will answer back. So all it takes is a couple irrational actors to drop the first bomb and all hell breaks loose. Let one country catch a couple Ls, and see with the nuke option doesn't become more appealing.

not to stand on either side, both are here to stay for the foreseeable future and toothpaste don't go back in the tube, but I've always liked that the pro-nuke argument and the pro-gun argument are so similar..."good guys with nukes deter bad guys with nukes."

China don't even like North Korea. If they were to fire something they got China coming in from the north and us/South Korea from the south. The battle for which proxy government takes control afterwards would be heated tho and Russia would side with China heavy as one of its largest navy bases is just from northeast from n.k
