People were getting their pairs in a timely order I believe until multiple links to the site were posted publicly and Twitter got hold of it shortly after. Suddenly, they had a lot of money and orders to be fulfilled on their plate in a very short amount of time.
Yeah it makes sense which is why I understand the delay for now but if they don't get caught up anytime soon I'd say something is weird.

all that goes down the toilet if they keep slacking on fullfilling orders in a timely/reasonable manner.

they might have a few that dont mind sticking it out. but most will not want to take that ride everytime they order.

even if the site did get blown up, thats not an excuse. if they only put the amount of stock they can reasonably handle, they wouldnt be swamped the way they are. and after they get those orders taken care of, they can list more stock etc. instead theyre restocking and restocking and restock and still restocking with orders from 3 weeks ago still needing to be fullfilled.

thats a combo of not using their brains and not caring imo.

That's what I refered to when this issue came up, but the Air Jordan 1 hacks were defending their stance. We got hacks acting like they know how to tell real pairs from fake pairs. [emoji]128580[/emoji]
Yeah I remember you saying that multiple times.

Poor business practice for sure but they're still relatively new to this. Let's see how it goes for the next week or so.

UA pairs are really really really bridging the gap between with authentic pairs. Heres what you need to look out for...

- Lace bags are not big anymore. On the 2013-14 pairs have the bags have 5 ridge line near the opening. On remastered pairs theres only 4 lines. The UA pairs will be using the old 5 line ridged bags.

- The boxes are better. no more thick cut ribbed cardboard. The brown is lighter and the box, and the placement of the Nike sign and Swoosh text under the box lid isn't in the right place.

- The wings logo TM is slightly higher, and the wings itself is more satin glossed rather than high glossed.

- The texture is not as soft to the touch.

- Box label is exact to the naked eye, however the fonts will be thicker in some areas. Compare to other remastered AJ1 boxes.

- The registered R is back on the Nike Air tongues. The R shouldnt be perfect. It's hard to expalin this without pics however. I'll show that later.

- Paper should be accurate with all AJ1 releases and not thin as tissue. That goes for any retro.

...stay woke

I totally agree. I'm not defending their response and lack of preparation. Just noting what initially caused the delay.

I feel these aren't real "restocks". Especially since they don't have inventory on hand. So it is either cancellations or they are finding new hookups after initial run.

Too many questioning everything. Just buy, wait, and dbl check legit once it arrives.

I believe some members still think that the straight line stitching vs single thread stitching discrepancy is enough to warrant the WB pair as fugazi.

Guess I need to catch up, but tongue the difference between "Retail" and "Non-Retail" wasn't the crookedness of the lines, but that the early release pairs (of Banneds, in particular) had evenly spaced top tongue lines versus one clearly smaller space and one thicker space.

My pair arrived but it didn't come with a retail receipt. I sent email to WB and see what they say. Will double check tonight when I get home and will post pics later.

Purchases it on 10/9 first restock. [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Please update us when you get a response. Can you post pictures when you get a chance?

Mine didn't come with a receipt either

According to their website each pair should come with it. Maybe it was over sight due to them scrambling to make shipments or maybe not. It seems most pairs with receipt so far on NT came from the initial 10/8 purchase.

My pair is from 10/8 and no receipt; but I don't care, it's the shoes that matter not the receipt. Receipts prove nothing.

I don't get this and no one explained to me what was off the first night people posted pairs

The tongues aren't placed the same on all pairs

People were using the tongue tag stitching as an indicator. A stitching that looked like a solid line is "fake", but people with retail pairs have similar stitching so myth busted.
