this is something i would say back in 2003-2005, as years passed i'd be ashamed to say this in 2016. does he have classic music? of course. has he ever evolved and made anything to take him to the next level? not really. can he even compare to the catalogs of Nas, Jay, LL Cool J, KRS, DMX, Mobb Deep, hell even Fat Joe? not a chance. when it comes to actual bars he's very one dimensional.

DMX was better than 50 Cent, and probably still has more passion in his music than he currently does. most of his stuff aged badly. he's the type of rapper that when you listen to some of his tunes you'll remember a certain time in your life that's mostly for nostalgic purposes. there's very few songs i can still listen to from him.
