Jus stating facts wtf I need to hate on Pac for he died over something that had nothing to do with him that he knew nothing about...

Yeah he was claiming MOB and when he dropped Lane he officially was banging on they rival enemy..

So he got dealt with like any other 25 year old gang member in the mid 90s

And btw F U
ay man, dont take it personal, i aint tryin to go out like Pac

Suge is the one that made him and Nas talk and squash it, hell Pac was dissin Nas for no reason sucka ish

Like I said Suge had the juice
Suge was in the car and almost died that night too, what's that got to do with how much juice he got vs Pac?

you sayin that suge is still alive because he got more juice than pac but he almost died that night too, the difference is big homie was way more careful than Pac

another thing man, just cuz you punch some dude dont mean they comin back with guns.  Ive punched many dudes in my day, some of em banging too, but you knuckle up and handle it.  They came back shootin because he didnt just get punched, they all jumped his ***

Yea he was street smart and he knew about the gang culture due to him actually being from that hood

Suge use to terrorize them Crips long before Pac came thru and nobody did a single thing to him

The man had Lane on the witness stand saying Suge didn't touch him at all, and he saved his life that night etc...

That's Juice

And Compton gang bangers are totally different than any dudes you talkin bout

I'm not worried about the consensus truth? It's my view of 2pac lol

And i'm not contradicting myself. I'm saying it's entertainment to me. I view 2pac as an entertainer, sure. But if I were to view him in with an "Activist lens" or whatever the case, then Pac's music would become a weapon and thus, i'd have to look at him, and his music differently.

I don't view Pac's music as a "weapon" at all, but he really didn't get the chance to do much of anything in the name of activism so if you're going to call him an activist, then i'd assume you'd say his vehicle of activism is his music. For me, that couldn't be the case if I wanted to view him as an activist because as much "good" as he put in his music, he diluted it with "bad."
What kind of logic are you exercising here? I'm really curious to understand how a person's music can be damaging only if you view them as an "activist", but if you view them strictly as an entertainer...then the music ISN'T damaging?

Why are you so stuck and hung up on a singular word to apply to Tupac? You're literally compartmentalizing all of who he was, into one label that you can assign to his entirety as a person. Tupac was MANY things...just like most of us are MANY things.
ac·tiv·ist

a person who campaigns to bring about political or social change.
Nowhere in there does it say: "but not if you do bad things".

Bill Cosby is an "activist".

Listen Baby Lane was a shooter he was not fighting anybody he was kold with a pistol

I'll put it to you like this If Suge would have did what Pac did, them dudes from SSC would have took the L and went back to LA

Suge knew them dudes long before Pac came around he had just punked Lane in ATL the year before

Man what?

Keefe D at Greenblatts Deli said that the bounty from Diddy was on Suge and Pac's head at the time of the murder. They were aiming for both.
the interview pretty much confirms they wanted Suge initially, but the opportunity was for both since Pac was in the car with him.  Juice didnt save Suge that night, luck did

Wasn't Suge kind of just pretending to be a blood too? Some of his boys have come out and said he wasn't in the streets, his mom wouldn't let him out the house. He wasn't a blood. He got money and hired bloods that he was cool with but he wasn't a blood.

Pac was an activist because he was the only mainstream rapper at that moment talking the **** he was talking. Most mainstream rappers were scared to do that. He was emotional and passionate, he caught up at times. I don't understand why he can't feel one way one day and another way another day. That doesn't mean he was the next X or MLK but he was an activist for his field. Doing more than most. Pac was on the biggest and most dangerous label, around bloods and gang members everyday. It's not a surprise that his surroundings became his reality. I don't understand why people call him soft either. It was always understood that Pac was down to fight all the time. Plenty of his crew have said that Pac always wanted to fight. I don't know if he had that small man complex or what but he was a fighter. He fought people, shot at people, went to jail. Isn't this all the **** that doesn't make you soft in rap?

Keffe said that Pac was added later but it was more about Suge. Puff was scared for his life and wanted to get Suge out. He said Pac wasn't the priority and they were on him once he stomped out Orlando.

He got killed because he for doing some dumb ish thinking he was real Piru he asked the man where he was from before he punched him

Nobody is to blame but him

Exactly like dudes that was down with Deathrow & the Mob have come out & said that if PAC wasn't there that night at the MGM that was gonna happen to BABY LANE anyway...BABY LANE had just tired to snatch TREY'S chain at LAKEWOOD MALL & he was by himself in the lobby that night so the MOB was gonna mash on him regardless...PAC wasn't acting like a boss or a leader he was acting like a follower wanting to be accepted if he was a real leader or a real boss he should have stepped back & let the Death Row soldiers aka THE MOB handle that...I saw someone say this was the only time PAC laid his hands on somebody for this beef & that's not true...Death Row had a Christmas Party in 95' a dude that was down with BAD BOY was there by himself it's on the police report that SUGE, PAC, DRE & Member of the MOB jumped this dude beat him so bad to where one of his eye sockets was broken & attempted to make him drink piss because they wanted to know where PUFFY'S family was....The whole thing was SUGE hated PUFFY after his homie BIG JAKE got killed in ATL in 94' word was WOLF murked dude....But PAC was always jumping on somebody like the SAM SNEED incident when him & the OUTLAWS jumped dude because he didn't have any Death Row artists in his video, He beat up a engineer for rewinding the tape to far dude thought he was invincible....JOE COOL Snoop's cousin in a interview said when he heard PAC got shot he was like "HE WASN'T SHOCKED HE WAS OVERDUE FOR THAT BECAUSE HE WAS JUST PUSHING TOO HARD YOU CAN'T GO AROUND SPITTING ON PEOPLE, BEATING UP PEOPLE, JUMPING PEOPLE & EXPECTING PEOPLE NOT TO TAKE THAT PERSONAL" also BIG C-STYLE said that gangbanging **** got him killed because he got into something he didn't know nothing about basically STYLE said PAC was mislead by SUGE....

What was always crazy to me was that Death Row cars had been shot up before and Suge went and got a few bulletproof cars. Why would you drive anything that wasn't bulletproof? Same with Pac, if you've been shot at a few times, why wouldn't you wear your vest everyday? Never made sense, they were both feeling themselves and made a dumb mistake. You would have seen me everyday in a vest and a bulletproof car.

I think when ppl say Pac was "soft", they talking bout he aint really come up like that...like he started going real hard and doing all the things u mentioned when he got up with some dudes that was really bout that...he wasnt running round crazy when he was growing up in Baltimore or NYC but he def flexed up when he hit the west coast with them gang dudes ...its in the same line of thinkin bout Chris Brown moving from VA to cali and banging n thinkin he tough now after he got on ...like around here you talk to anybody in my city and NOBODY woulda thought Pac was gon be acting the way he was by the time he died cuz he was on some chill **** growing up

Anyway Pac's life was too interesting and complicated to do a movie, they shoulda thrown his story to FX or HBO and gave it the series treatment with different episodes

From everything I read bro KIDADA asked PAC if he was bringing his vest before they left for Vegas & PAC said "NAH IT WAS TOO HOT" or something to that effect hell there are even reports that PAC was standing up in the sun roof inviting chicks to come to 662 (SUGE'S CLUB) because he was performing that night & a few minutes later the shooting happened he made himself a target even KEEFE said it if PAC wouldn't have been drawing attention to himself they would have never got him because they were gonna get him in the parking lot of 662 but when they pulled up the Cops & MOB was in full effect so they left they drove around for like a hr looking for them & when they saw PAC hanging out the sunroof & the gang of cars they spotted them they really should have either been in the far right lane of had a car following them on PAC side in the caravan but when you have HOMEBOY SECURITY they are high & tipsy like the rappers they got caught with their pants down basically...

Yeah, that's crazy. Everything that could have went wrong that night went wrong for him. It's kind of crazy when you listen to the audio of Keffe talking about it. Like you said, they went to 662 and was gonna go back but then Pac hanging out the window and that was it. Hot or not, I'm wearing my vest son. Damn

That video of him performing at 662 a few weeks earlier is real dope.

More tweets for RTs. Even if he really didn't know, "the ***** from Poetic Justice" would be in his mid-40s and couldn't play that part anyway

Anyone know where I can find that Makaveli 1-16 set? I had them stolen years ago and never looked again. I need that OG music. Crazy how once he passed hundreds of songs hit the streets. That's mad foul.

That small scene where Snoop had to hop on that plane without his Crip/fam members while Pac and Suge were mad at him was funny as hell. I couldn't stop laughing when he sat at the back of the bus and hid the knife under his coat just in case something popped off. I just like how Snoop seems calm in almost every situation. Maybe it's the weed....... Anyway I wouldn't mind seeing a full movie about his life/career.

Overall, the movie was decent to me. The only part that really irritated me was the ending. Who's bright idea was it to play gospel music while he was dying? I was ready to walk out when that happened.

Wish they would have shown the scene when he assaulted the Hughes brothers for not giving him the Menace 2 Society role then bragged about it on Yo MTV Raps.

Danai Gurira did a good job of playing Afeni. Don't think they could have found a better person to play her.

Listening to Jada talk about the inaccuracies on her time with Pac did leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Me and my boy were talking about it the other night... Like someone in here said Pac lived 50 years in a short amount of time. Which means they cant cover his WHOLE life in 2 hrs and 30 mins. But lets be real the ones that are complaining its trash are yall willing to sit down to watch a 3 - 4 hour biopic???
