So did they knock him off because of the gang banging or the bounty, or a little of both?

If it was a bounty for both how is Suge still alive?

It wasn't cause of a bounty he got murked strictly for dropping Lane

Me and my boy were talking about it the other night... Like someone in here said Pac lived 50 years in a short amount of time. Which means they cant cover his WHOLE life in 2 hrs and 30 mins. But lets be real the ones that are complaining its trash are yall willing to sit down to watch a 3 - 4 hour biopic???

Yes. We talking bout pac not lil flip.

That small scene where Snoop had to hop on that plane without his Crip/fam members while Pac and Suge were mad at him was funny as hell. I couldn't stop laughing when he sat at the back of the bus and hid the knife under his coat just in case something popped off.

That was a low-key very funny scene

The best part of the movie was Maino clapping Pac. That was a very believable scene

Breaks down how They tricked 2pac mom in letting the rights to the movie to go thur!!!

She was suing them in Court to stop the movie, which is why it took so long to come out

She passed away

court case dropped

Crooked as hell what Morgan Creek and LT Hutton did!!

man y'all posting some awesome videos especially regarding the shooting among other things

Just saw it. **** was corny.

They overdramatized **** where it didn't need to be for cheap moments of depth. Very heavy handed. The actresses that played Afeni and Jada over acted like a mug....

Due that player Suge was GREAT. And the dude that played Pac did a very good job. That house of blues performance was authentic as hell. The Oakland arrest scene, and Atlanta shootout too. Miami had a good moment.

Other tha that....corny...and they focused their time foolishly. You can't capture Pac's life in a 2hr movie....but to just gloss over important things and hit on what the directors field would connect to the average fan was lazy.

Does anyone really think this is going to be an epic movie? I feel like it would be decent at best which is why I'm not even pressed to see it.

Caught a ticket special for 6 bucks, about to catch it dolo on the lunch break.

Update: glad I caught the special. Wasn't very bad but it wasn't very good. It was kinda boring and lowkey painful for the first portion. The storyline may have worked, but it was just executed poorly. I didn't get interested until he joined deathrow.

Scenes with the hoodie and scenes with the glasses son was looking 100% identical to pac. That lil mf wasn't scared of nothing though. Suge was cold blooded :smh:
The females in the hotel were top notch :pimp:

And that was 100% snoops voice doing a voice over.

4/10. Somewhere fif is laughing at me :smh:

You could also look at this movie as an unintentional comedy

This movie was terrible, but I knew that going in though
give a critique brotha, why was it terrible to you? I havent seen it yet.
I didn't like how they skipped around the beginning of his life so fast. They jumped year to year to fast. Which to me, is a sign that the material they had to work with wasn't much. It made that part of the movie feel rushed and felt like filler to get to the parts where he was already grown and things leading up to his murder which is the story they wanted to tell anyway. Even in this movie, they didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about regarding Pac. It's the same **** we've known for the last 20+ odd years. That scene with him rapping on Same Song was trash. I remember the video and I get it was part of a montage with movie clips, but that scene with him looked extra low budget. The Snoop voice...the dude that played Snoop....just comical. Plus it was factually incorrect in a lot of places. The scene where he got shot at the studio...he actually looked up at Lil Cease in the window and he called Big before he even went to the studio. Hell, that part was even covered in Notorious. They left that part of out of the movie to make it seem more dramatic. I could go on and on, but those particularly stuck out to me. I also didn't like the gospel music at the end.

Also, I was surprised to see the scene where he preformed hail Mary, the song wasn't released until he died. I know it's possible that he could've performed it, but the way the crowd was feeling it and singing along made it seem like it was a mainstream joint already.

That's a good point. Album dropped after he passed away. Doubt he performed Hail Mary but he might have. I remember seeing videos of him performing "new" songs like Troublesome and Never Call You B Again. Never seen him perform anything from Makaveli.

I love the OG Never Call You B Again so much. Beat is so funky.

Think he performed this at House of Blues
