Copped the white and red, I've got too strong of a nostalgic connection to wait on these. If I run across the black on discount, I'll cop then aswell. For me, they were TTS (I'm somewhat skinny), but the guy next to me had to go .5 up.

Never thought this would sell well on rd but I'm surprised i think black pair is going to be like the Zoom flight gloves black indeed as peeps here are saying so grab them while it's here cause gradually it's gonna disappear

This shoe will always be special to me. The 95-96 school year was super exciting because the Houston Rockets (my home team) were going for a 3-peat and we all just knew they'd play the Chicago Bulls who were on their way to getting 70 wins and breaking the NBA record of 69 wins.
Although the Rockets were my team I loved MJ,Scottie and of course the wild and crazy Dennis Rodman. The worm was such a defensive threat and almost like a rock star. He even listened to Pearl Jam before games.
I tried so hard to obtain original Jordan XIS but to no avail, that was the shoe that gave birth to the hype (kids were gettinf jacked for them all of the time). I was crushed and after hooping in my previous pair of shoes and destroying them I needed something new.
Thne one day this girl I had a crush on walked into my class with these white and blue shoes on that laced up sideways. I thought they were the coolest looking shoes ever. Then I remembered my buddy Daryl mentioning a shoe he saw Dennis Rodman wearing that had the same lacing style. I had to have them. When I finally made it to Footlocker to buy them I was told they were sold out of the white and blue color but they had just gotten the black and white colorway in....

awesome story! I remember walking into sports authority and them having the white and blue pair and had to have them. I never saw another person with them either and everyone used to comment on them. Love them

Rodman wore this and I didn't care back then bcuz of the uptempo penny and 11 i regretted not buying this for 17 years I still remember. Now I'm like a school kid with the black and easters coming great shoes my top shoes

Really happy with this somewhat of an impulse buy.
The material used on the top is different than anything I remember seeing on sneakers before. It's not crazy "furry" but it's material you might find on a plush toy. Works pretty well imo.
