Any time I see a pickup truck with 2 flags this is literally the type of behavior that I imagine; and the only other time I've ever seen this type of scum was in the movie A Time to Kill.

Very scary stuff dudes. This country is trending towards bad place.

A few thoughts:

- This is B roll footage of the wrong type of white people.

- The audio is like the chatter on call of duty.

- Wear a shirt you white trash. I mean since respecting the flags matters so much, wear a freakin' shirt.

Trump Supporters gonna Trump Support

White people just showing out now

This is old but Massachussets is racist as hell, if you take out the college students it's essentially Alabama.

Not at all. Boston has an ugly past, but it's not the 70's anymore.

Kind of rationale that sparks, "but slavery was a hundred and fifty years ago"

That's awfully naive of you to think 70's MA is that much different than present day. Culture and societal change don't work like that.

Boston ≠ Massachusetts as a whole.

i was bout to say, that sounds like something a racist person from boston would say.
Tell me what makes Massachusetts "racist as hell."

You're the one who brought up Boston, it's ugy history, and implied there's been some dramatic change in culture since the 70's. All while the original point was made about MA. What are you getting at? So far your posts have come off as insecurity and/or guilt about both the city of Boston and the states admittedly disgusting past.

got through less than a minute...by my **** tho?!

I honestly almost want Trump to win so there can be no denial of the country's true nature.

I brought up 70's Boston only after dude said Massachusetts in general is racist as hell to sort of imply that the city of Boston had an ugly stretch, but Massachusetts as a whole is not one of the more racist places in the states present day.

I think you'll find this type of behavior in ANY state, I was just surprised to see it not far from me because it's the type of thing that seems more characteristic of the south and I had never previously seen it here, nevermind the casual nature it was displayed in the video.

I don't know why I'd have insecurity or guilt? I'm just making conversation.

I think the general theme that Lion Blood was articulating was that a super majority of white people harbor white supremacist ideas and therefore white supremacy as a political force is not just limited to Southern States and Rural Western States. White supremacy can be found as political organizing principle in certain portions of even the bluest of blue States.

A few days ago, I was talking about my home State, California, and quipped that California is a blue State entirely because of minorities and that the white electorate was not much different than the white electorate in Alabama. That is somewhat of a simplification but there is lot of truth to that. You go to a dirt bike rally in Riverside or Kern County and the views towards black folks aren't that different from the views at a KKK rally in Alabama.

We live in a very big Country and people tend to form simplified images of entire States. People think California, they think of Hollywood or the Bay Area, you think of Massachusetts and you think of Harvard and when you think of New York State, you think of New York City. Every State has its conservative hinterland and even worst, even the bluest of cities have fascistic tendencies that devalue the lives of persons of color. San Francisco tech bros are using the SFPD to harass Latinos who have lived there a lot longer than the tech migrants. New York has "stop and frisk." Harvard is in Cambridge where one of its professors can get arrested for getting into his own home.

We just have to be cognizant of the fact that white supremacy is a part of political life in even some of the most progressive cities and states in America.

Fair enough. I'd be shocked if things are better within Boston city limits vs. Outside in the suburban rural areas.

Arguing over the most racist places in the states is like arguing over who has worse terminal cancer but I digress.

75% of the aggregate state of California is like this too, so yea when you imply THE major metropolitan area in MA is worse than the bumble **** hick towns, I'm going to have my doubts.

I shouldn't have said insecure or guilty but I'm not ready to withdraw naivety.

If Marky Mark can get away with assaulting and robbing stores owned by ethic folks, I'm not surprised about this.

you win dumb comment of the day
your perspective has been noted.

I think we can achieve that without having Trump winning.
can we though? what more potent proof can we have of a white supremacist society than an openly practicing President? realizing the majority of the country shares his sentiments--to the extent where they are willing to ignore his other glaring flaws as an elected official--is the slap in the face many people need to understand that this country is set up for that exact type of person to flourish.

too many people believe in the fairy tale of some bright young progressive someday swooping in and creating a utopia of social justice and equality when there's really no such thing as either and the only enduring solutions will come from the people affected by the inherent unfairness of society. Trump winning would turn those silly dreams to the feeble ashes they always were, giving even the most dense denier a clear picture of where things stand.

I think it would be the perfect way to highlight a thoroughly broken system...in a way, he's the president America deserves.

still, I believe I mentioned "almost" in my original reply.

The fact he has made it this far already says enough. You can tell the racists have been emboldened by Trump's rise.

The only people still in denial are the ones who clearly don't understand racism or support it.

Same goes for the wave of toxic nationalism spreading across the west in general. The brexit vote in the UK really exposed how deeply racist the country is. Y'all aren't the only ones.

Take a look at what's happening in the Netherlands. This guy makes Trump look like a social justice icon in comparison. Note: He was also a guest speaker at the 2016 republican convention.

Take in mind that Geert Wilders' party is leading in the polls for the upcoming elections. He recently released his party's "de-islamization" policy plans.

https://www.rt.com/news/357340-geert-wilders-manifesto-islam/

I'll translate some of the Dutch parts:

-Close borders, close all refugee centers and withdraw resident permits that were recently granted to refugees

-Ban islamic headwear from all public functions

-Ban "public displays of Islam that violate the public order", whatever that means

-Close all mosques, ban the Quran

-Preventive imprisonment of radicalized muslims

-Deport criminals with dual nationalities and strip away their Dutch nationality

-Close all "Islamic faith schools"
