I Regret Going to College

Try havin a Bachelors in ART...yes ART.
See how far that gets you

Especially when you owe 10's of thousands in student loans and no one gives AF about your garbage degree

At least your business/accounting degree will be applicable to corporate jobs, IF you choose to go that route.
If you have a degree like art its not applicable to anything other than applying to be a receptionist in a musem.

Now thats regret man.

You didn't have real friends if one of them didn't let you know you were wasting your time.

I'm going back to school when I join the navy.

No more distractions anymore.

I'm 24 and ********ted my most valuable key years away.

I work 4 odd jobs but that can't take care of everything on my plate.

Let the party animal ruin it for me the first time (hotbox mornings in the school parking lot before class, got too stoned to go to class, went to class high, went to class drunk, some weeks didn't show up, skipped class and gambled in campus card games and other bs :smh: :smh:

Turning 25 in March and don't have time to waste anymore because a couple years from now I probably will have a wife and kids and as a man I have to meet the criteria on what it takes to provide.

OP!!!!!!!!!!!

FINISH STRONG, **** THE DOUBT

Damn homie :smh:

So they just packed up shop and just cleared town :smh:

I'm a dropout but I still made it. Out here managing risk for the top 1% but I'm not your average person. You have hustle and drive you can accomplish a lot. You don't need school but it will get you a lot farther and open more doors. It's really who you know.

LULz I can totally cosign this.

Went to a private art college, paid a heavy amount of green on tuition, couldn't afford it, now after two years I'm at a community college to finish up my general units to transfer to a Cal State for an illustration program because it's cheaper. Haven't taken a math course in like 4 years and I swear I'm gonna flatline man. Anyway, wish I didn't mess around from the jump otherwise I would've chose another major

IMO this western mentality of "studying and doing what you enjoy" is the culpirt That is why all these kids end up with BA in Theatre and Gender Studies. How about do what is useful for society? or do what is in demand?

Yeah man, Feds cracked down on 'em and then they was like **** the students and staff and officially closed up shop after labor day nationwide. :smh:

Phoenix needs to be next, a friend of mine is enrolled in Phoenix and he was telling how easy it was. Didn't want to rain on his parade that most HR departments don't even consider those Phoenix degrees.

If you only have one more year I'd say suck it up. Btw, business is a joke in terms of difficulty. Imagine how architecture, engineering, comp sci majors feel at a 300+ level

That would be me, lol. It is definitely no joke.

To the OP, you have to stick with it brother. I started college right after hs like most and ended up quitting 2 years in. I thought I was making good money at the time so I saw no reason to finish and just went all in working. I later realized that job I was a dead end and I would be making the same money forever. After doing my time in the military the best decision I have ever made was going back to finish my degree. I am now one class away from a bachelor's and I see so many doors opening up for me that never would've come without it. You better believe that piece of paper puts you miles ahead of someone without it in the job market. Keep your head up and work hard, you are almost there.

A 4.0 in communications, music, art, etc. is worth less than a 2.0 in a science or economics related degree (unless you plan to go to a top law school, where all that matters is your GPA). I can't believe people willingly ruin their lives by picking those majors and working at jobs that max out at 40K even after years of experience . I'm not judging people who don't make good money, but you can make that much without going into crippling student loans and wasting 4 years of your life pursuing something that has 0 value

Accounting made me change my major

take it online a pay somebody to do the work remember it doesn't matter how you got the grade on the report card as long as its a high mark

This this this. It's a trap from the jump imo. I mean I'm not saying don't go, but having a plan and bumping shoulders with the right people is the way to go.
