Good morning,NT,my car broke down which I need for my job,so basically I am lost.I am looking for a loan of $1500 to fix my problem.I always see all the ads on TV saying that anyone with any bad credit can get a quick loan up to $5000,but apparently they are lies.I applied to a bunch including lendingtree and was not approved? What is a surefire way to get a $1500 loan? It's not really that much.I have poor credit.Also,I live in Austin if that helps.

How much will it cost to fix your car?

Can you use public transportation (or ask for rides from friends) in the interim?

The LAST thing you want to do is take out a loan at a ridiculously high interest rate.

You'll be spending more money than what you're probably making.

I'd try to explore all options. There has to be a way. Even talk to you employer.

*If you don't mind me asking, what do you do?

payday loans, but they should be your last resort. you're gonna end up in a black hole if you don't pay back in time.
