Disgraced ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner is under investigation by federal prosecutors in Manhattan for alleged sexts to a 15-year-old girl that allegedly included pornographic videos, requests for nudity and requests for masturbation, according to two highly knowledgeable sources.

Weiner, the estranged husband of Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, allegedly used the alias "T Dog" in this, the latest in a series of alleged sexting episodes since 2012.

The sexting to an underage woman was first reported by the Daily Mail.

According to law enforcement sources familiar with the matter, federal prosecutors have opened an investigation into the allegations that is in its early stages but already includes a subpoena for Weiner's cellphone records.

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara, had no comment.

On Wednesday, Weiner gave a statement to NBC News where he admitted "terrible judgement" but claimed he was the victim of a "hoax."

'I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent," the statement read. "I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt. While I have provided the Daily Mail with information showing that I have likely been the subject of a hoax, I have no one to blame but me for putting myself in this position. I am sorry."

I laughed off what his wife dovorced him over but damn this is a new low.

What's worse is he think he can finesse this like Donald and still be in the public eye and taken seriously like he ain't do anything wrong.
