90 day physical and mental transformation

Aight, so basically starting(manana?)

You post your goal
Once a week follow up
And at 90 days post what youve achieved?

No matter what the goal is?

Sounds dope.
I think most people wanted to start on October 1st so it ran right up until the new year.
 
also, are we all sharing tips on how to make progress or are we to do the best we can alone?

lets make this happen guys. this can be motivational and productive for everyone involved wheather you win the pot or not.
I hope people would share tips and what they were doing to reach their goal.
 
So Saturday October 1st everybody that wants to get involved needs to put up a current picture with stats and goals. Obviously people will only notice physical changes but if you want to put up other goals for your own reference I think that's a good idea. Hopefully coming into the new year we'll have some people that stuck with it and made some solid positive changes.
 
I gained an absurd amount of weight recently. Shameful really. I'm in. I hear having partners in stuff like this usually works out really well. 

My goal is to drop 50 lbs.

Fact lol I was just putting the idea out there. It also wouldn't be worth doing if only a few people got down. There's not much to organize though... You put up a pic then get busy for 90 days and put up another pic showing what you've been able to accomplish.

Well I was thinking more so in terms of the scope something like this could achieve.

Im with the physical side... Let dudes visibly show how much they've improved over a 90 day period, but adding the mental side in opens up a litany of other possibilities.

Maybe daily meditation, philosophical reading, etc. 

I'd be too lazy to draft up something like this for all of general to partake in though.

this is a type of thing that could always be run with things added or removed depending on interest. I think something simple to start off with might motivate other people to get involved in the future.

I've been trying to gain like crazy at the same time trying to eat healthy. I don't lift weights I'm more into the body weight/calesthenics thing on my @Wavy Daddy **** so I've been trying to go hard on that.

When it comes to the mental tip, I'll post some tips once I get home that work for me
 
What's 5x5 and the Roosh program? :nerd:
I'm not sure what the roosh program is but 5x5 is stronglifts starting strength program. It's a simple and very effective way to start weight training. I think they even have a free app.

I would like to join in the festivities, I have been putting off losing 15-20lbs for too long now. I'm also growing my beard out 

all of this.

don't care for prizes but I'm willing to pitch in.
 
I'm using this thread as motivation for myself. Lately I've been stressed beyond belief with legal issues and the normal things life throws at you. I lost motivation and haven't been steady in my workouts or diet. By Saturday all of these things will be in the past and I want to stay focused on taking the right path and living better. I hope others join and we can get this money together but I'm in this all the way. I'm sure it could be organized better and have a format that works for more people but I'm making a change and going to log it all here. I hope this thread or idea in general grows into something that can keep going. Saturday my pic stats and goals are getting posted and I hope others join.
 
Winner gets $150 from me PayPal on the last day or a day after depending on how the poll works. It isn't much but like I said I hope this idea grows.

I appreciate that man but come in here and get money as a team. If you doing it anyways then share what works for you and what doesn't while keeping yourself accountable seeing your peers working on those days you want to take off.

I would even say we should try to contribute to a charity or something as well. Especially since it's over the holidays, so many programs could use the help. Maybe a dollar for each pound lost/gained we can donate to a non profit? Any charitable NTers that can help make some sense of this? :nerd:
 
I spent a bunch of time in that fitness thread and I never saw anything. A lot of people arguing about what works best but I never see progress pics from any camp. This isn't about that it's strictly how dedicated you are and what you can accomplish in 90 days. Hopefully people from that thread join in and slot of those arguments can be put to rest based on results.
