murder is never out of equation wit da hijacks... people would be more brazen to mess wit a driverless vehicle IMO.
 
Truckers won't go away completely but the marker will lean towards those that get IP to speed.

Similar to commercial pilots.

They're not landing your plane... Computers are

Doesn't mean all pilots will go away

realize this. please don't think your office or retail job is safe for the next 10 years, these companies are all about profit.

of course, this brings up the UBI discussion...
 
I look at more of a track system taking place in the years to come. Maybe one that can hook up to a highways median guard rail and guide the car along. You'd still be in your own car but for longer streches of road, you're on a track system. Think of those car wash places that pull your car along. That seems more feasible than computer driven trucks.

Long distance trucking yes but your local truckers no way. Delivering produce, soda, etc need drivers to unload.
 
Yea aight lol. Lemme see one of them robot trucks drive thru some of the roads I gotta go down, reversing and jack knifing like how I do. Besides that the trucking industry is WAY to cheap for that lol.
 
Trucking is such a straightforward job I wouldnt be surprised at all.

Going to assume most smart drivers have seen this coming from a mile away.

Already decided im copping a Tesla in 2020.

**** driving. Been driving almost everyday since I turned 16. Hate it.
