That's the reason people feathers were ruffled. I wish I would've screenshotted the post on my fb feed, I didn't even watch the show but people were mad as hell. Dude should've just did panda and played it safe.

This. Timmy Turner is not at all a song to perform to try to get hype to, and he looked stupid trying to do it. There's a reason they never once showed the crowd until the performance was over.

Not really sure if you and MrWavez count, cause y'all made it seem like that was a #1 smash hit, yet I pulled up playlists from various cities from various times of the day and it was literally played once. But okay.

Yet billboard who accounts for this (& also uses streams/youtube spins) showcases that the song is being played Alot... but suddenly when the largest holder of this information states it, the answer for you guys was to claim fraud on their part. Your logical answer was that Billboard is cheating their system to juke desiigner records..........

Now BET let him close out the Hiphop awards, with a song "nobody" knows, and again the response is nobody on MY timeline likes the song... I'm sorry for questioning if a NT poster has more info on what song is hot than Billboard & Viacom, my mistake

I see no issue with him closing the show for the simple fact that he did have the biggest song of the last year or so and he's signed to ye. But he dropped the ball performing a song that they are forcing on people. That's like Trinidad closing and performing that side ***** song. Dude can't go up there and perform panda every damn time. Hell, he performed panda a few months ago at the bet awards. It makes sense that he'd perform his newest single as this one. And it makes sense he's the closer since he had one of the biggest songs of the year....and there is no other star power at the show.

You go on a big stage and push your new single. trynafeelmink is trying way too hard to prove a point.

BET isn't gonna allow you to just go up there and perform brand new material that people aren't familiar with (outside of superstars like Jay, Wayne, Ye). All i'm saying is that this is another instance of a song "nobody ever hears or plays" getting played and heard and approved by another huge outlet in music.

And while we are on the topic of unenergetic performances & **** that had the crowd lost....... 21 SAVAGE . Son doesn't have an appealing bone in his body

Bet don't give a damn about the hip hop awards hence 21 performing. They just know son is popular and had a #1 hit why not have him perform. He couldve told them he wanted to do the cosmo and Wanda remix they wouldn't have cared. It's the label that wins with him doing that song if it works out. Performing panda would've had a different reaction imo tho. That was a smash, undeniable honestly. **** is contagious when it comes on and his energy fits that song. He is getting killed on social media for whatever he did up there, I'll watch this weekend.

there's no doubt that Panda is the bigger song that's not debatable, but your bugging if you think BET had an Award show that featured longer tenured and bigger artist then Desiigner on the stage, was just gonna let him go up there and perform whatever to close the show. especially when as you mentioned he has a record like Panda which is a SMASH. They allowed him to perform Timmy turner because it's a song that is relatively known and is growing more and more.

That's my only point in these comments, timmy turner has gained traction and it isn't some obscure song that nobody ever hears.

Yea mans felt kinda bad for him cuz it def wasn't a good look ...had him pausing n fumbling when future's parts came on then trying catch up with his verse , son was lookin crazy out there for a big stage like that

Also trynafeelmink I think we all pretty much agreed that that designer song has to be getting played somewhere, just that alotta ppl in different places on here haven't or don't hear it that's all ...never heard it out in my city or anywhere else I been lately once yet, but Panda still gets luv tho

I pulled up info taken directly from multiple cities playlists, from stations that are practically all owned by Viacom through years of consolidation. Thanks for the apology though, I accept, and let's me know you can admit some faults.
