Things to do in DC?

I'll be out there for the weekend of October 14 with a few people. Never been there as an adult so I'm looking for some cool things to do. Not looking for clubs, but more so bars or lounges. I'm down to link up with any of you that will be out there that weekend.
 
Oh, snap. NT summit!

I just moved out here two months ago...so I'll be taking notes on all the suggestions lol.

But Georgetown has a couple of bars that you could check out. Arlington as well.

See the museums,memorials, and monuments, that'll take 2 days alone if you really wanna enjoy them. Just came back from there on Sunday after seeing the Museum of African American History and Culture, had the kids so didn't do much other than the things I mentioned and still didn't get to see some of the museums.

National Museum of African American History and Culture just opened up this past weekend.

ChurchKey is my favorite bar to go if it's just with some homies and you aren't looking for girls. One of the best craft and vintage brew selections in DC.

Georgetown waterfront bars are a solid day move. Go to Dans Cafe if you wanna get wasted off cheap liquor before you go out for the night. Dupont bar hopping is cool but I'm over the crowded bar scene. Much rather stay home where I can :pimp: , which if you're into :pimp:, you can PM me :smile:

the usual tourist stuff like abraham lincoln memorial, white house, museums, etc.

if you;re not into that check out Stussy DC and Commonwealth DC. They're right next to each other and its pretty cool. Esp if you're into streetwear.

OP sounds like you'd like spots like Jack Rose (Adams Morgan), Brixton, Provision, quarter+glory (all U St)
