Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition

Not a Danny Brown fan but thats easily one of the best cover arts in a very long time. Also like the Joy Division reference with album title

Ill give this a listen later

after two-three full spins

album is great.

If you are a Danny Brown fan there is almost nothing to dislike about the album. Some off the wall production, some sing songy flow, some rapid fire lyrics. The drugs songs the girls songs and the rugged street life narrative songs.

Will be purchasing. Consider me impressed

This album is cool & i dont even like dude like that. I wish he rapped in that voice that was used for Tell Me more often. His voice & delivery are way too wacky to me especially with how dark the lyrics are at times. Tone of voice dont match the words lol

Love the production tho. It's a bit different

check!

I'll give this a spin on my way to work tomorrow.

Last project I heard was XXX.

Was Old any good?

Was Old any good?

All the songs where he was more calm and subdued were way better than the ones where he's being very loud and extra.

The production is definitely out there on this album, and he's rapping in that wild and crazy voice almost the whole time

Folks on other boards/music sites are saying this is a good candidate for rap AOTY. Very, very unique record.

Only listened up to rolling stone so far but holy ****. Rolling stone is amazing. Had it on repeat for a long time

Listening to album again on shuffle, weird tradition for me on 2nd listens lol. Helps me get more familiar with the songs lol but anyways im liking it more & more. I really love the production on this album. This is def getting copped tomorrow

Album is really good. I think it's more focused than Old.

Lost has some Wu Tang vibes

Upon first listen, I wasn't feeling this like most of you.

Yea i aint gon lie, halfway thru it on the first listen I was like "idk if I can listen to this & that voice anymore after awhile "

But then on later listens i felt it alot more. Prob my favorite produced album this yr

Really don't know how I feel about this album. Normally I enjoy Danny's featured verses on other artist's joints but that voice might be a little too extra to listen to for an entire project. Production is definitely dope, though. Maybe I just need to adjust to his delivery

Album is dope. You just gotta be super open minded with it cause it deviates from the norm a lot

Feeling it on first spin. Gotta listen with earphones and some weed and see how much resonates better. Digging the alternative hip hop scene
