Things people do that you dont understand

Y'all the reason jobs go to Mexico and Asia, looking at ur watch to see when it's exactly 2 hours from start to talk y'all break .. lol [emoji]128514[/emoji] good forbid u wrk 3 straight hours with no break .

Ya people leaving work when their shift is done is the reason jobs are being outsourced to Asia. Right....

I always get to work early. It's rare that I'm "on time". I work some OT every now and then, but honestly, I'm able to get my work done in less than 8 hours, so hanging out and staring at my screen when I have nothing to do is not only stealing from the company, it's ******* boring.

Add to that, traffic gets incrementally worse with every 5 minutes around a certain time and I have no incentive to stay. Our company even started limiting OT in my department because people were milking the hell out of it... staying an extra 4 hours a day. Now you can do 30 minutes before and 30 after your shift and that's it. And I also have to pick my daughters up at a certain time.

Cosign all of this. A lot of companies dont wanna give or are hesistant to give OT for that very reason u stated. People milk it. Take OT and dont do **** just waste time.

Or they can pay people less in those countries. [emoji]129300[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji] (at dude saying not working OT is the reason jobs are outsourced)

I'm not acting or *** kissing at work. More power to the super employees. Let's see how many coworkers attend your funeral or stay by your bedside when you're sick. Maybe spend more time with family and the people that actually care about you.

If i'm not mistaken, jobs usually ask " can you do things in a certain time frame or timely manner "

If you cant do before your shift ends, you did something wrong.

Repped, they not hearing you

Reason why jobs are outsourced is because they can pay those workers dirt cheap compared to the domestic workers it has little to none to do with employees not wanting to work OT. Besides I come early so there's even less reason for me to work OT my work is already done by my scheduled time.

Its the white dudes that scared to stay 10 min late once a week.

**** the principal about it, it shows what kinda man you are.

You don't know that man's story, mind your ******* business. Are you his manager? is his work done? can't stand cats that watch another man's work thinking it will get them over.

I always notice too that's it's from the less competent workers who "work smarter" will always be a foreign concept to, thinking that makes up what they lack somehow.

Work ethic isn't leaving later than your designated time just because. You have no idea what that person has accomplished throughout his day. Don't mistake unwarranted, redundant, unnecessary indentured servitude as work ethic. That's just expending energy to no effective results, and stealing company time. That's not working smarter, and it isn't helping the business, it's actually hurting it. This is the type that sits there and wonders how that dude moved up but you're still there despite leaving late every day.

Whats wrong with that ?

They taste good to me like that, cream cheese and bacon not toasted.

You have to toast it, especially with cream cheese. Especially those cold NY mornings when you cant even feel your fingers. That toasted cinnamon raisin bagel and OJ >>>

Nah, the best bagels i've had don't need toasting. Those Jewish NY bagels that are tough as hell to bite and chew are so damn good.

Harvard (I think those are some nerdy smart guys or something) thinks long hours are... well, dumb.

https://hbr.org/2015/04/why-some-men-pretend-to-work-80-hour-weeks

And there's this...

My opinion of people that work unnecessarily long hours is they have no life outside of work and/or want their boss's approval, but instead of finding solutions to problems and being more productive, they want to give the appearance of both with little substance resulting from their "efforts". If they wanna be glued to their desks, all good with me.
