Is FedEx Stupid?

So I ordered something and it was shipped via FedEx Smartpost:

Why is my package in Georgia when I live in South Carolina. It went past a whole state, does FedEx not have a distribution center in South Carolina (I know they do). Also my package won't be delivered until Saturday. What kind of shipping service is FedEx running to be so stupid.
 
dont have this problem in ny....... from anywhere in the world to new jersey/ queens ny, next day get my package in brooklyn..... hope you get it soon

I just think all that moving to different places is un called for. Especially if the package past your state.
 
I'm sure the reasoning behind the logistics are deeper than that. Heard they had some system issues recently too.

I had a package once arrive in San Jose (where I was living). Then it went north to Richmond, then back south to Frenso, then finally back to San Jose. Got the package three days after it was initially in SJ.

This was USPS.

Infuriating.

I might be eating my words USPS might've just jacked a special package of mine. But I say ups and FedEx cuz they are private companies and they can do what they want with it.
 
UPS is probably the more reliable out of the big three (UPS, USPS, FEDEX)

USPS can kick rocks though. Telling me my boxes are too heavy so you couldn't deliver them. If you can lift less that 50lbs, you shouldn't have applied for this job. Make me leave work early to lift and unload the boxes on my own.

He cool wit me. Offered fedex a beer one day wen it was hot out
He Said it was against his policy to drink and drive.

So you know what we did

We drank em right there on my porch.
