I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which is widely known as a self defense first martial art. I asked a lot of people how they would defend against a clown (run, blood choke, air choke, limb submission, etc). An overwhelming majority said shoot him

Common knowledge all BJJ dudes stay strapped. We know we aint invincible no need to play games.

Well society are ******* nowadays, anything that's not normal is considered a threat.

With that said, if I ever saw a clown randomly on the streets on any other month than October?

I'll be sure to let him see the Glock on my waist and the Ruger on my ankle.

Why is that confusing?

Any Martial Artists knows, the goal of a fight is to get in and get out of the fight asap for your safety.

Martial Arts in general is a self-defensive mindset. We don't go looking for fights, only to protect ourselves.

So why play around trying to get a dude on his back and choke him out?

You don't know what he knows, he might even be better at you at what YOU know.

A poke at the eyes, stomp to the foot, kick to the groin or jab at the throat is the quickest and effective way to get yourself to safety.

A strike to the throat followed by a curb stomp seems like it'd be an awesome combo. A good substitute for the curb stomp would be a punt kick. :smokin

FORT WAYNE, INDIANA – A man dressed as a clown was shot on the city’s south side midday Sunday. The shooting was reported just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday at 4801 Plaza Dr.

Fort Wayne police were called just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday to an address at 4701 Plaza Dr., near Standish Street just south of McMillen Park, on a report of a shooting there. When police arrived they found a man in a clown costume shot in his head in critical condition.

Fort Wayne Police Department spokesperson Michael Joyner said a white colored suv pulled up alongside of the clown. A man was driving. Joyner said the man got out of the car and fired several shots. The man then got back in the suv and headed north on Plaza.

“This isn’t the first shooting that’s happened on this street,” neighbor Joe Wright said. “They happen often down the street.”

Joyner said he doesn’t know why people are dressing as clowns, but he said he suspects fear is a factor across the city.

“I just think it’s crazy. People better take those clown mask off… before the coroner does,” Wright said.

The victims’ names have not been released at this time.

Newark Man Dressed As Clown Shot In Head and Killed



NEWARK, NJ – A man dressed as a clown was shot in the city’s West Ward last night. The shooting was reported just after 10:30 p.m. by Vailsburg Park.

Newark police were called just after 10:30 p.m. last night to Oraton Parkway and S. Munn Ave., near the Parkway North entrance ramp, on a report of a shooting. When police arrived they found a man in a clown costume shot in his head in critical condition.



A spokesperson for the Newark Police Department said a silver SUV, driven by an African-American male, pulled up alongside of the clown. According to the spokesperson’s statement, the man got out of the car and fired several shots. The man then got back in the SUV and headed north on the Garden State Parkway.


“This isn’t the first shooting that’s happened around, resident Earl Johnson said. “They happen often around here, but never involving a f**king clown.”

The spokesperson said he doesn’t know why people are dressing in clown outfits, but he said he suspects fear is a factor across the city.


“I just think it’s insane. People better take those clown masks off before the coroner does,” Johnson said.

The victim, who has been identified as Carlos Mendoza, 31, was transported to University Hospital were he was pronounced dead. The suspect in the shooting has not be identified however authorities are actively searching for his whereabouts.

This **** is like the shark attacks that one summer yeeeeears ago.

And I'm calling it now, so liberal group is going to call for clown Halloween masks to be pulled.
 
I find it strange that apparently no one has been harmed by these clowns yet people are willing to commit violent acts, up to and including murder, on sight, no questions asked against them. Like how are yall that spooked by this? Makes no sense to me.

And I think people are seeing these clowns with knives and ****.
 
Just saw on the local news that a car with people in clown masks was following this woman on the expressway / turnpike. Cops got them and arrested them.

A highschool kid in the county I live in was chased by someone in a clown costume holding a kitchen knife.
 
1 robbed a store in my city and 1 pulled a knife on a kid and poked him I guess or some **** I saw. Play the knife game with me u dead
