Does anyone know why the Jordan 5 Metallic 2016 with Nike Air doesnt have the 23 on the side????

They claimed its remastered and the OG has 23 on the side how come these 2016 edition don't?
 
The black OG release did not have the 23 on the side. That version was a PE. The only OG public release version with the 23 was the white red black release according to my memory.

if they would've done da retro PE with da correct nymber font as a remaster, no one would've complained.

Just for a quick recap: When MJ wore his Vs in-game, his always had 23 on the side. Those were PEs.

The public did not get those versions, except for one:

...which was a huge deal to the kids at the time, because it was like wearing "his" shoes.


Also, as zombiejesuz said, Mike put white laces in for his first-round playoff series against the Bucks in '90. The public never got white laces with their black Vs.
