They need to change the ticket pricing structure than. Resell price will be resell prices. But don't charge way more to see certain teams play when you know the star attraction which is why the price is so high might be rested when fully healthy and able to play.

It's one thing if a guy is legitimately hurt. But to sit someone out for "rest" is just weak. Anyone who paid hard earned money to the game tonight has a legit reason to be pissed. It's a different generation I guess. Hopefully the NBA nips this crap in the bud though.

This is why i love JVG, Mark and Breen

even when the game is pure trash, their commentary makes it like a podcast with a game on in the background

pure entertainment

How the **** is Love sitting. Man JUST came back.

And what kills me about this resting BS is when GSW sat everybody against the Spurs some people was defending it saying

"well they don't want to show the Spurs their hand, it's an advantage in the playoffs"

Man what?

Everybody knows what everybody is gonna do in the playoffs. No team is gonna break out some top secret lineup/system. This is basketball.

Lue needs o rest Lebby another 4 games at least. Lebby has way too many minutes this year.

The new TV contracts have to be some of the worst money ever spent when they look at 1st and 2nd quarter earnings post investment.

Drove the cap through the roof, got everyone paid, and the whole league takes off.....talking about looking the gift horse in the mouth or whatever.

It's a bad look all around. Poppivich deserves crap for it. He's notorious for doing it. It was bad when the warriors did it, it's just as bad as Cleveland doing it. Imagine the 96 bulls sitting a perfectly healthy Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman for rest lmao.

If the league fines the hell out of coaches for so much as questioning a ref to the media, they can nip this in the bud and flex their muscle on coaches who blatantly do it.

This is a quote from a USA Today interview.

John Wall: NBA players 'owe it to the fans' not to rest

Walls Fargo. :pimp:

#theresabankineverycity

There's no need to trim the schedule down, these clowns just need to man up and play. They've reduced the amount of b2b, gave them a whole week for the All Star game reduced the 4 games in 5 nights. They even starting the season a week earlier. This new generation is a joke.

God i hope JVG never leaves commentary.

NBA so filtered these day with just crud interviews and other PG BS stuff.

need more people stepping and saying it how it is, this sucks and that sucks, deal with it.

JVG clownin!

When Pop first did it I was ok with it cuz he did have some old dudes on his team but then when he got criticized for it he went overboard with it to troll the NBA. Now these other contenders want to follow in his lead. :smh:

I'd be posed if I bought tickets and these cats decided to sit out.

 at the audacity of wanting to play fewer games but make more money?

The NBA existed before lebron and will continue on after he is done,

DUde said "what do you mean Tristan refuses to rest, so it is the players who are in control not the AD and sports training etc."

"if Tristan can tell the staff he's playing, then anyone can tell the staff they are playing"

"this is the players decision too, don't give me that it comes from their boss stuff"

It ain't really even that big of a deal. It's a smart decision to rest your stars during meaningless games a time the end of the season.

it ain't even that serious. JVG is such a crybaby lame.

That's where my beef lies with. No league promotes individual players the way the NBA does. Say you live in Memphis, the Grizzlies box office charges considerably more to see the cavs or warriors play because of lebron and curry. You could see the very same Cavs in the same uniforms just without lebron for peanuts in 2011-13. So the box office charges off star talent.

They make that game a premium priced game only for the main attraction everyone pays to see sitting out when fully healthy and able to play. I don't encourage that crap at all, but if they're going to do it, do it during home games where the fans have 41 regular season games, preseason, and possibly playoffs to see their guy play.

They're going to stop this crap at some point though. The minute the networks which pay billions of dollars to broadcast these games start complaining and making a stink, id expect the league to start cracking down on it.

Not a single lie in here.

If you only attend NBA games when superstars come to town you aren't a true NBA fan.

I've never cared about guys sitting it out. I've been to Spurs games where Tim Duncan sat and they only go to ATL once a year. But I'm a fan of the squad in general though, I can see your beef if you're there to see the stars or whatever.

If people are mad I dont blame them, they have a valid reason. It just doesnt bother me though.
