Depends on wins and what kawhi does. if the spurs are the 1 seed or close I don't see how you don't give it to kawhi.

If the rockets are 10 games better than the thunder how on earth could you give it to a dude who's probably gonna average 1 more rebound a game.

If they get the 4 seed it's not going to be a 10 game difference.

And it's 2.5 more points, 2.5 more rebounds and .8 assists less that is the difference between Russ & Beard right now.

Cavs coming to my city on Wednesday and I really want to see Bron play live but would be livid if I pay a lot to see him in a suit.

I think if you took the 15 best players from the Nuggets and Lakers, you'd get 13 Nuggets players.
Well let's see

Jokic
Wilson
Gallo
Barton
Murray
Harris
Plumlee
Faried
Juancho
Jameer
Muddy

Ingram
DLo
Zubac
Randle

11-4 for 15

Wrestling night was :pimp:

Lol at us winning as soon as we sit Parsons for the year. Would've saved ourselves about 5 L's if we did this sooner like everyone wanted.

NBA need to only allow players to sit for rest at home. and a strongly worded memo needs to be sent to all teams regarding sitting healthy players for primetime games.

They just need to announce a few days in advance.

I sold my tix 100 over face each today because I had a feeling they weren't gonna play... I know whoever bought them was mad af

I'd have no problem with them fining the coaches but fine them on a level where it impacts them. I know the Spurs got hit with a 200k fine when they did it against the heat in 2012 and started the whole trend.

Take first round picks away for repeat offenders and even go as far as giving their opponent in a playoff series one of their home playoff games and that stuff will stop quickly. If they don't want to do that, they can force the teams to rest the player for a playoff game for each game they rest him in the regular season. It's outlandish things they could do to prove a point.

Yeah those are extreme forms of punishment. But the NBA has acted extremely harsh on other issues so I wouldn't be opposed to them acting petty in terms of punishing teams resting players. The refs are untouchable and your pockets get hit if you say anything bad about them even if it's true. Try and do some stuff under the table salary cap wise and you get punished harshly. They can throw the hammer down on teams intentionally resting players and compromising the integrity of the game if they wanted. Especially if the networks which pay to air the games were vocal about their frustration.

I can assure you the Networks > The NBA

If Networks pull the plug, the whole League is in trouble.

Again, I can assure you ABC isn't going to take this lightly.

Primetime NBA has been on Saturday for what, 4 weeks thus far? Three of those four weeks had resting and one game had both sides with their 3 stars DNP.(maybe it's 3 weeks and every week has been sabatoged)

ABC is going to get what it wants, and it's players playing.
Lebron has to chill man.

Tomorrow's game vs LAL is in NBAtv and Cavs will play but they throw away the Marwuee matchup vs LAC, not smart Lebby, not smart.

Idk how you guys expect the league to mandate that players play. Try that and the "injuries" and "illnesses" become more frequent. You guys are asking for something that isn't really feasible.

Implementing a players must play rule is simple, you make it a rule, the end.
And if someone gets sick then what? He must play? I don't think you can impose such things and it's not like the NBA is in an at will employment scenario.

If I constantly call out sick at my job I'm getting fired, the NBA can't or even if they could isn't firing LeBron.

Lol they'll just start the game, foul immediately then sit out the rest of the game if a rule is mandated.

If someone is sick they don't play, simple.

The rule wouldn't be some "micro manage" to tell coaches how to police their teams if someone is sick or injured.

The rule would be to keep teams from resting 4players that aren't sick and aren't injured.

You have Coaches that are blatantly telling you they are "resting" players, that can be policed without micro managing like you are suggesting Antidope

Lol, no they wouldnt they'd play like the rule would mandate.

Same as when the dress code was implemented.
Guys weren't showing up to work in a tuxedo t-shirts trying to side step the rule, they acknowledged the rule, they all followed suit, and wore "proper attire"
