John or Thomas? Hard to build chemistry if you're constantly changing teams. This Boston team has had its core for what, 2.5 seasons? If Isiah had been with Boston his entire career and not made it out of the first round I'd give you that point. However he's only been with them a few years and his first season they went up against Cleveland... and he came that season mid way...

I'll let Boston show me what they have this year. If they are one and done again then I'll judge them accordingly
the cavs have had their core for 2.5 seasons lol
im not seeing your logic at all

Wiz need to get Derrick Williams for sure off that bench.

Wonder where he goes.

Also, Where is Mahimi???? :nerd: Seems like forever.

Cavs have Lebron though, total outlier.
Put him on any team in the NBA and they contend.

In 2.5 seasons he's won it all once and been twice

Wall and the Wizards have been out of the first round each of their two playoff appearances. Lost to a better Indy team and lost to the Hawks (Wall broke his wrist). The latter, was the season where they had a legit shot of making the ECF if they kept their health. Wizards didn't choke anything
you're completely missing the point
jesus christ

What was your point?

You talked about them "choking" against Indy and Atlanta. I addressed that.

Cavs are twice as talented as the Celtics. Unfair comparison.

I See his pov
im saying playing together for longer doesn't mean you're going to get better
look at the pelicans for example
to say Wall is expected to make the playoffs because he's been on the same team is idiotic

Mahinmi should be back within the next week or so. Team wants to have him get in some game action before the ASB.

Derrick Williams would help w/ the scoring. He might come a lot cheaper than going after someone like Lou Williams or Will Barton.

Playing together longer does have positive attributes though.

Using the Pels is a terrible example because they've all been injured constantly, that's their main issue, not the lack of importance of time together.

so have the wizards....
otto beal and wall have all missed time

Yeah, the Pelicans should be judged for that though lol, which they have been. Davis has taken criticism for that and same with Love when he was with Minny. Same with Cousins now

You can't expect the Celtics to automatically make it out of the first round when their core hasn't been together for as long as Washington's and they've really only been together 2.5 years. That's what seems idiotic here, not to mention you bringing up LeBron as if that's any comparison

That is kind of the point because Wiz have made the playoffs, and more than once, and it helps that it's been a solid core to contribute.

what

just start over
Think you should. This Wizards team has never made it to the Eastern conference finals. Don't want to hear "should have". Lol

John at this point, should have been out of the first round. He's been on the same team his entire career

It's not really fair to judge Boston's current team against Washington's in terms of their current history because Boston hasn't had the same star players for as long as Washington has

You say this like he hasn't been playing with trash under a trash coach up until now.

And what long standing stars have Washington had? Wall just turned 26

Who else? Nene? Ariza? It's not fair to judge Washington because they were just at bostons point not too long ago.

You're being over critical like Wall had the same supportive cast as other all star guards. How did CP3 work out before he left to LA? Washington just got a young half decent team.

You say he should have been out of the first round like it's a 1 man sport. He isn't the reason they haven't made it past the first round..

you harped on the choking part which shows you did miss the point

Jesus...he didn't miss your point. He just addressed a part of what you said which is incorrect: The wiz didn't choke, they got beat by a better team in Indiana and we're hampered with injuries against the hawks.

Kieff deciding that he not only can but will play meaningful Basketball is a big help.

Hes on a whole different level right now. MIP type play.

On the contrary, where have I been overly critical of Wall? You're getting the wrong idea. My perspective is that Ty is being overly critical of the Celtics

How can you expect the Celtics to have made it out of the first round when their core is in their second full year? That's my point. I never bashed Wall or anything like that

I'm simply saying if Boston had this core for longer and still didn't make it to the 2nd round, I'd judge them accordingly. I'll judge them after this playoff run, as I just said. Now they truly don't have any excuse to not make it out of the first round

i'm not being overly critical of the celtics
i'm just wondering why everyone is crowning them when they haven't done anything yet
